I haven't read much tbh, it's not uplifting in any manner. And I do understand people getting mad when others don't see things as clearly as they think they do themselves. It's human nature.

But, the acrimony when Nixon landslided McGovern in '72 after the polls showed them basically tied, wasn't even as bad
as what I've heard and read.

Two years from now, maybe things will be great under either candidate. Who knows.
I hope fans of either loser can maintain their composure and achieve some level of objectivity.

Hes gonna try to coup if he loses. Without a doubt. And its currently likely Georgia just refuses to certify of he loses the State.

Objectivity isnt in Trumpist plans

hm, you really believe that? A coup? sounds a bit far fetched, but that's just my opinion. To execute a coup, wouldn’t he need the military or a force of his own?

and I was referring to voters attempting to be objective, not the candidates themselves.
I wish whoever wins the best of luck in doing right by the American people, and nations around the world.

Did you see how many people overwhelmed a force and got into the Capitol on J-6? I didn't say he was going to be successful, but the guy is notorious for not conceding defeat, ever, and his statements have only grown increasingly violent in the last few months. I think if they try to coup it will be because its "now or never" to try to take over the US Government by force, and they'd be half relying on how many right wing radicals are already in the Military and will disobey the Generals, preferring to work under someone like Flynn.

I dont think it will be successful and I think it will get crushed fast, but I think expecting a gracious defeat and peaceful transfer of power is naive. I dont think Trump voters will be objective, they're all over here just denying reality every day.

And with your fucky system, they can wait until they see which way the wind is blowing and whether or not it will do any good so they don't even need to put themselves at risk unless it's going to be worth it.

If he was going to attempt to coup, why didn’t he do it when he lost in 2020 and was still de facto president with the armed forces at his beck and call?
Granted, his recent comments about “the enemy within” are both ominous and cryptic but I don’t foresee any violent conflagration erupting if he loses.
That is if he makes it that far. They have already tried to kill him twice, and you know what they say, third times the charm.
