So if it's Kamala Harris as the presidential nominee. One of her possible running mate should be The Rock. Just because he's such a well known lovable celebrity and people tend to gravitate towards celebrities. Just look at Trump for example.

Or get Adam Kinzinger as the running mate, some radical choice like that. A republican that's against Trump and would have voted for Biden if he stayed on. This is to show the American public that people can find a common ground, regardless of party affiliation. Just like when Abraham Lincoln got the other parties to agree abolishing slavery. Same concept, regardless of what party you are with. You came up with a way to achieve something to better society and the country as a whole.

I think Kinzinger would be a great running choice to show the republican moderates that you can get along with the other side regardless of party loyalty.

You're forgetting that no one wanted Kamala Harris in the 2020 primaries. Tulsi brain fucked her so bad that she dropped out. Kamala Harris spoke out against Biden and insinuated that he was a racist, and he picked her anyways.

Giggles Harris is dead money.

He definitely should’ve stepped down sooner, I totally agree with that.

Not every state in has a primary. Shit, some still caucus in what seems like an antiquated, political square dancing ritual from the 18th century lol.
Or you have times such as the Republican primary where people drop out en masse before many states can even vote, same thing happened on the Dem side in 2020. States can also just hold a convention as well.

Even if you look back to the last time a Pres dropped out, in 1968, we had this. LBJ dropped out earlier than Biden, like late March/early April. So there was still quite a few primaries to go. But some states already had theirs with LBJ on the ballot; RFK ended up entering the race after this, so some states had primaries ithout having the opportunity to vote for RFK.

Anyway, bottom line here is this is rare and unique circumstance—but it’s not unheard of, it’s not some massive affront to democracy, it’s not illegal, it’s not unconstitutional, it’s not oligarchy. It’s nine of those things.

But I expect plenty of memes about this to manipulate the less-educated.

It's a shit show that one side is obviously gonna exaggerate and take advantage of. They fucked up, we both agree with that.

I think we pretty much on the implications as well and that the other side will use fake narratives to make it look even worse. Many lies will be heard about it.

It’s just kind of funny. The Right smeared Biden as senile and incapable, and kept hammering that point that our candidate couldn’t run the country.
We actually looked at it and said: “Goddamn, you might be right. We’ll get someone else.”

And they cry and act like we shouldn’t and couldn’t do that. We can, we think it’s best for the country—and the Republicans seem to agree on that wouldn’t they, considering everything they said about Biden?

I mean the democrats obviously don't give a fuck, they just decided now was the time because Biden polls horribly. It's not like they honestly considered any feedback from the right and decided "well they're right, let's finally agree now".

They did the right thing, for the wrong reasons, and with incorrect timing (way too late).

Doesn't matter. There's no Democrat that didn't like her in 2020 saying "She sucks and is uninspiring... so I'm voting Trump."

You gotta look at it from the point of view of the moderates, the undecided, the uninformed, because they're the ones that decide elections. Yeah, she's way less charismatic than prime Biden... but she's also way more coherent, alive, and energetic than current Biden.

Plus, she's not nearly as unlikable as Hillary.

I think the debate put doubts about Biden front and center. I mean, we could just say “fuck off, we don’t care” like the Right does when Trump cheats on his wife with a porn star, gets convicted of felonies, runs fake elector schemes, or siphons off political donations to pay his personal legal fees, or any number of things. They’ve made up their minds long ago that they DGAF what he does. Libs aren’t really wired that way though.

We’ll see. I mean, I’m not in denial about how things are at the moment, but people’s attention span lasts 5 seconds. There’s plenty of time to put together a good ticket, get some good policies out there, schedule debates and (hopefully) perform well.
Now, I don’t have a ton of faith in the Dems’ ability to do that correctly, they always seem to end up in shambles.

No Democrats are going to vote for Trump anyways. The goal is to have someone that is relatable who they will come out for. I don't think that she is it. Wasn't she polling worse than Biden?

I have never seen anyone post anything positive that she has done or give her any praise.
