I think he will stay in another month or two. Now that Kamala is in, they probably seeing how polling reflects with her as the candidate and how he affect her numbers.

this thread is a one sided comedic beat down. its hilarious and entertaining. but its also pretty dang sad and even though i am WAY past the disillusionment stage its shocking that our country could stoop so low. members of my own family support trump... and to a man they are the least happy and most toxic ones too.

i came out of naivete way too late but it was when I read a book by james michener called "the source" that traces the jewish peoples from cave dwelling all the way to post ww2. the book was quite brutal and horrific as history is but it was my first intro to it. but the thing that shocked me so profoundly and changed me deeply was the realization that NOTHING has changed. there are no safeguards guaranteed to keep us from total chaos.


anyway just rambling here but we are living in some pretty dang crazy times and its puzzling that any group of people could fail to recognize trump for what he is or the gravity of what is happening.

She was just ok to me until I learned that she chose Walz because of his progressive tendencies and against electability compared to other candidates. She is looking up to be a progressive president AND setting up Vanz for future presidencies.

That's the most hopeful I've been since Bernie. And he was the first time I ever really felt hope politically.
