Trump won't win New York but that's only because Biden finally signed that executive order and fixed the border 3+1/2 years late and only because Texas started to bus the problem to blue states causing blue voters to switch to red.

Biden temp fixed the problem. I fully expect Harris to lose control over the border again come Jan 2025. Progressive voters are so easily played.

I don't think that affects them much at all.

I think this comes with the inherent confusion and frustration of trying to be something you are not.

Looking in the mirror and still seeing an adam's apple, a receding hairline...large hands. Trying REALLY hard to put on an appearance and yet still getting misgendered because it's not good enough. Add to the fact of all the other regular imperfections some people struggle with naturally, a trans person has to deal with all that and more.

Nevermind the fact that the vast majority of them are on medication that is fucking with their hormones and you have yourself a disaster waiting to happen.

The majority of children suffering gender dysphoria end up growing out of it if you just leave them be to figure it out. As a parent, I would much rather take my chances not encouraging such a shitty life path for my kid by getting them on puberty blockers or the like and just encourage them to learn to come to terms with themselves as they are.

But hey! I'm not a doctor! But I am a parent. And as such it's my choice how I wish to raise my son. Not some activist with a stethoscope and a shitty degree.

I really hate the Hitler comparisons because there's no way to avoid the fact that it comes off as hyperbole. Trump is more like Silvio Berlusconi who would make the US look more like Italy in its inefficiency and corruption with a hint of Hugo Chavez in the way he tries to consolidate power.

In Florida we do have a price gouging law which regulates price increase during a time of emergency but this comes off as very different, Kamala is alleging price gouging at a national scale by grocery chains for which there is zero evidence. It just looks like she heard complaints about grocery store prices(which are largely exaggerated, we're pretty much past inflation) and has reached for the most obvious yet most counter-productive and ineffectual policy remedy to this non-existent problem.

Basically she has no plan and thinks the federal government can just step in and change things
