I would I wouldn't count him out as he is incredibly tough and Barboza's chin isn't fool proof but still if he loses there seems to be the potential for him to get badly beaten up.

Interesting to see what happens here, Al's not been on great terms with the UFC previously but helping to save the Khabib fight must surely put him in their good books now and the potential for some main events on TV/net cards?

Idk about that. edson is way too technical for gaethje. let gaethje get a W under his belt first. maybe gaethje/iaquinta or gaethje/james vick

I think he needs someone ranked a tad lower. Throw him on the undercard of a PPV to help sell it a bit more and get him back on the winning track.

Barboza was an awful matchup for Gaethje even when he had a chin. Now that his chin is basically eviscerated, I would be worried for Justin's life, not just his health, in this fight lol.

You'd have to say Barboza because he should easily get around Gaethje's zero defense, but I feel like he could find a way to lose. The forward pressure might be too much

The problem for Gaethje would be getting into a leg kick war with Edson Barboza. Huge fucking mistake. Where Gaethje uses volume of kicks to wear down an opponent, Edson can kick your leg off your body. Barboza with no threat of the take down would likely give Gaethje a nasty taste of his own medicine.

I feel like Pettis would be perfect right now. Would be intersting to see how Pettis would deal with Gaethje's pressure.
