As I understand they got rid of religious police, woman can drive now, male guardianship laws are gone, segregated restaurants gone, bans on public entertainment lifted, etc. Why would they not want to actually open up? It's so obviously the only way to diversify their economy. They want their cities to be like Dubai. Tribal areas are a different story of course.

Fair enough, probably haters though or Messi fans or something. I don't follow soccer closely, but I do know I've never heard this complaint directed at him in general public discourse when he comes up. I see pics of him chilling with MBS on X and everyone is enamoured.

I do agree with your points overall. They are making efforts. Even if they are doing this with ulterior motives it's still being done and this sort of stuff will change the culture overall.

Those are PR listings. Things like adolescent bride registration and capital punishment have drastically increased. Thats not even getting into the slave labor practices of local and foreign individuals.

Certainly surprised and disappointed to see some of the names on that list. Especially Chappelle, Burr, and Louis. They all have plenty of money.

Burr being a sellout is a disappointment considering his podcast is 90% him complaining about the ruling class. Good for Gillis though. Always thought he was just another rogan-sphere, do whatever it takes comedian, but he’s actually showing some principle.
