Social Just turned 37

Happy birthday man. Hope it was a good one for you. Getting older shouldn't stop you from accomplishing things. Just have to go about it more methodically and apply life lessons that experience hopefully taught you earlier on.

Life is awesome at this stage. Much better than in my 20s and I had a fucking awesome 20s.

You got a lot of shit figured out, more money and are wiser. If you took care of yourself you should look just as good if not better than before.

Yeah I look 27 and don't have any debilitating or nagging aches. I should be more optimistic lol
 
I turn 37 in a few months. I’m pretty indifferent about the age thing. The only thing that concerns me, is that my body feels more rusty than I did when I was young. I think that chalked up to doing a lot of manual labor and not much rest.
 
So you plan on moaning for the next 50-60 years that you're no longer young and that life is somehow over because of that?? Makes no sense. As long as you're in decent shape, or even half-decent shape, you can live your life and do the things you enjoy.
 
I was gonna say, "I'm 65, so shut the fuck up you whiny little girl!" But i decided, nope i'm better than that, so i won't.
 
40 was the prime of my life. Looked the best, felt good, finally had money. Now I am on the other side of 50, but the only thing giving me away is the wear and tear on my face. You see it around the eyes mostly. But I stay in shape and still feel good. There are so many things catered to our age range now. I went to an 80s vs 90s music night at a venue last night and it was all people around my age having a blast. It's way easier to be the top 5% the older you get compared to being in your 20s.

My birthday was this past Friday (17th) as well, 36 now.

I was bummed out a bit.

At least I look much younger than I am.
 
A 90-year-old trains in a gym I go to and he said you don't properly slow down until 45, so long as you keep yourself in good shape.
