Just realized something that'll piss yall off

Are you saying the heavier weights haven’t progressed with the sport and the prime of those divisions was 20 years ago?? Ya don’t say.

People used to make fun of the “Pride never die” guys, but that was a special moment in time and will never be replicated. It was the best display of 205 and up to exist. It’s aged very well in a sport that’s stagnating for once.

Wish it wasn’t called “Pride” though. Tough to defend sometimes.

Yeah, Prides HW division was awesome. Today's HW has about 5 decent fighters. People say Fedor fought cans, but today's division is just as bad.

I absolutely agree with you OP. Fedor in his prime would of done well in the UFC during that era.

In reality only champion a Fedor ever beat was Noguiera.

All his other wins over champions were former champions years removed from being champion.

Fedor wouldnt have stayed undefeated had fought in the states, I have no doubt about that. He is very overrated.

The PRIDEFC belt was the best belt when it was around, the fuck he even need other ones for?
 
My question is, what would Gonzaga have to do to have Fedor’d Fedor like he did to Crocop? Would it be like body lock trip to armbar or something?

Fedor and Randy trained together when Randy was trying to get out of his UFC contract to fight him. Afterwards, Randy changed his tune about wanting to fight him.

You're disagreeing with what actually happened. Randy stopped trying to get out of his contract to fight him after they trained together.
