Nah, this fight deserves a US and Europe press conference, maybe even one of those interviews like they do in boxing where Jones and Gane are sitting across from each other where there's tension (I always liked these). I don't get it, embedded and UFC countdowns is the bare minimum, this is one of the biggest fights of the year by a lot. Fans complain there's no star power anymore in the UFC.

Jones is returning to MMA, the GOAT? And up a division to fight for the vacant title N'Gannou left? There's a lot to do with this storyline and Gane is an impressive guy himself, part of a pretty important market in France the UFC still has ground to gain in.

I imagine marketing a Jon Jones fight, even one this big, comes with tons of apprehension. I doubt UFC wants to put together a big to-do that ultimately ends up promoting Shevchenko vs Grasso.

Current UFC promo team has absolutely nothing to build the promo upon unless they go with a narrative that Ryan Jimmo is Gane's all time perfect male specimen.
