What is aggravating is the fact Gus is not fighting and just talking.
He fought ONCE every fucking year since 2012 with the only exception being 2015 when he lost both his fights.

That is NOT how active a top contender should be.

So I am ok with other fighters leapfrogging him, because his inactivity is on him and him alone.

Gus lost to Jones, DC and Johnson

He lost to the best guys in the division so he is below them meaning he's not better!

Gus' best accomplishment is getting beaten in a close fight by Jones and DC.And his best win is Glover Teixeira who is mediocre at best.That says a lot.

DC who has beaten Rumble twice and beat Alexander himself over 25 minutes.

Meanwhile Alex was deaded inside of 5 minutes by Rumble in front of his own hometown crowd, and lost to DC.

Yeah, Alex is really better than Cormier.
 
DC is better than Gus. where has Gus been and doing what? If he is so good he would have been position to capitalize on the Jones drama. He wasn't even in position to be offered the title fight against DC.
