Liked Gran Torino a lot but thought Million Dollar Baby way overrated. Although Clint is still good in it ofc.

I'm the opposite, I like MDB and think GT is overrated. I think Mystic River was the best of the 2000s. Letters from iwo jima is his most overlooked and under appreciated. I would say it's his 3rd best of the decade, maybe even 2nd.

I liked Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino but I thought The Mule and Cry Macho were both super meh.

Despite Warner Bros refusing to report box office numbers for Clint Eastwood’s “Juror #2,” Deadline is reporting that the film, being dubbed as Eastwood’s “final” one, is set to earn a 3-day total of around $275K in just 35 screens.

More impressively, Eastwood’s film earned $5M internationally, including a whopping $3M in France where the filmmaker has been championed for many decades. There are currently no plans to theatrically expand “Juror #2” in the U.S. as I’m hearing Warner Bros has already set up a VOD date for the film in late November,

His last movie, Cry Macho, was really bad, mostly because he was trying to play a cowboy as he hobbled around like Robert DeNiro kicking people in The Irishman

I get it Clint has an ego but in the book the character was in his late 30s!!! It’s okay to cast someone more age appropriate.

I've been putting Clint into my dead pool the last several years and he's still hanging on. Tough SOB and still putting in work. Have to respect the hustle. Definitely will check this out but probably waiting until it shows up on streaming.

To me it looked like Clint wanted to live out being a western star one last time. He was 90 and he was banging every chick he came across lol to me the movie is a hilarious unintentional comedy. I enjoyed watching it.

Lol wasn’t he banging out chicks 60 years younger than him in The Mule too? I mean he’s a notorious pussy hound in real life so I guess it just bleeds over to his work.

Ok I have one question for you:

Which is better,
The illusionist or the prestige?
I thought I watched the Prestige, and found it to be perfectly okay. When people were raving about it I thought it was wierd that it was getting such high praise. Made no sense to me. I didnt get it, mediocre okay movie. Close friend talked me into rewatching it with an open mind. About a year later I did. Turns out I had watched the illusionist and by the time I watched the Prestige the ending had already been spoiled, even though I knew the twist was coming it was still a much better movie than Illusionist.

I am retarded.

LOL nah you just made an honest mistake. But some people have seen both and still say the illusionist is better. That's how I know to dismiss their recommendations.
