I think it’s gotta at least be better than Fallen Kingdom, no? I’m sure people will disagree but I didn’t mind the one that brought back Neill, Dern, and Goldblum. It wasn’t anything special but it felt better than the 2018 film to me.

Seriously though, this franchise is turning into the Alien and Terminator type of thing where they will keep making the movies but nothing is ever going to approximate the early entry (or entries in the case of Terminator and Alien).

I’ll give it a shot. I like Mahershala and Scarlett.

Fallen kingdom was beyond ridiculous (although if they made they entire movie whether or not to save Isla Nubar from the volcanic eruption and make it a politcal / dino survival movie - it could have been great).

However, this looks like its going to exceed that ridiculousness. It's a glorified kaiju movie complete with what looks like a mutant monster someone resembling a monster.

The entire franchise is officially just mutation itself

They've really jumped the shark with hybrids and mutants. They just keep making it more and more retarded and far fetched as they go along.

LMFAO at ScarJo's character being the typical mary sue girlboss - all of the white males being the typical modern day low-T limp-wristed cucks who are afraid of their own shadow - and the typical black guy who's the tough, fearless, masculine sidekick. Shit is so cookie-cutter and predictable.


This looks like the Great Value version of Jurassic Park. The shit you find on DVD in the discount bin for $2.99 at Walmart.


Also, this secret island where all of the research was done..... is this returning to Site B? Or is there now magically a Site C where "other-other" research was done that we magically never knew about or heard about "until now"?


Shoulda just let it be after the masterpiece original. A good sequel has proven to be impossible in this franchise (Lost World was ok, not great, but very watchable)

When I was growing up I had no idea the stuff I grew up with was going to be all the movies for fucking forever.

If someone would have told me they were going to do 47 more hours of karate kid with Johnny and Daniel having karate fights in their late 50s I probably would have punched them in the dick, but here we are.

The most stupid aspect of all the JP/JW movies is that the heroes don't use a flamethrower to drive off the dinosaurs.

There isn't an animal alive that isn't afraid of fire. See a T-Rex coming at you, light it up and the threat is resolved.

In fact, if a dino got lit up, it would probably think twice about coming near any other humans in the future.

This truth would make for a very boring movie, though.

The only way to get studios to stop making these stupid movies is for the buying public to stop paying good money to watch them.
