As I watched the trailer, I thought multiple times 'This feels like Jurassic World mixed with Jurassic Park 2.'

And that's a good/bad thing because I really enjoyed JP2 and hated Jurassic World.

But adding elements of JP2 is a very good thing.

I'm hoping the posters were right who said that what we see in the trailer is only the focus of the first hour of the film.
That’s what I’m sensning because they sure did give away a lot(that T. rex reveal really sucked to give away) and I’m also not seeing how that’s a full plot. Gotta be some more on the plate

If you remember, the gyrospheres were supposed to only be operated within one specific area, but the kids went outside that area and that's when they got into trouble.

I get your point, but my take was that the area that was sectioned off only held relatively harmless dinos for which the gyrospheres would be ample protection.

What I thought strained credulity was the scene where park goers were kayaking down the river with dinos right there on the bank. That was more unbelievable to me.

This looks harmless to you?

Even supposing they only showed the gyrosphere with small dinosaurs (which they didn't), how do you prevent tourists from injuring the dinosaurs?

It's got one of my favorite pieces of exposition in it.

It's a high hide.

A what?

You hide in it. HIGH.

Hey man, sometimes you just gotta go with it. . .

What am I going to a theater to see that I didn't just see?

That felt like the entire movie in 2 minutes: Main characters put aside relationship issues to come together to save dinos, Goldblum tries to convince government to help, island explodes with only the main characters to help, apocalyptic dinosaur laced destruction follows.

What's left? Where the dinos end up? Meh. Doesn't really interest me.

But seriously, what is up with that Dino? Which arms are in front and which are in back?

Simple, just ban Chinese tourists.

I never said you can't enjoy the movie. But you specifically said you didn't understand what was wrong with it. Hopefully now you do. And why it's a worse movie than the original. Not just because of nostalgia.

Still, they introduce a cool looking lizard thing just to have it get taken out by the same goddamn T-Rex from the first movie.

Funny thing is there actually is an Allosaurus I believe, it got hit by the volcanic rock. Poor guy. At least we got a Baryonyx to look forward to.

There was also another cool predatory looking dinosaur in Jurassic Park 3 that was eating... well, it was eating shit I think.

I think it was the Ceratosaurus. Haven't seen the film in a long time though, could be wrong.

After the spectacles of Black Panther and Infinity War I'll need some matinee popcorn sh!t to watch.

This will do.

I hope they kill off Chris Pratt’s character. That would be some next level shit.

I'm not wowed...I'll see it I'm sure, but a very Meh trailer
