Really hope it's better than the last one. I was determined it would be great and went with my friend who kept telling me it would be crap....the same friend who hated Anderson Silva and pointed laughing at me when Anderson broke his leg....

Anyway, i hope they look back at Jurassic World and take out the cheesy romance and actually give the film some edge. I get that it'll never live up to jurassic Park 1 & 2 but please try

Seeing the park really realized and open at the beginning of JW was pretty damn cool.
Yeah that was awesome.

Seeing all the people getting fucked up was just amazing. They could do that again and i would be down.

I don't think they'e going to. I really liked JW. Hands down the best sequel they'e done

Yeah I don't understand how people were hating on it. Sure, it wasn't as good as the original, but after all the Jurassic Shit they've shovelled at us, I thought it was a pretty good return to form.

Definitely not hands down, but there is an argument to be made. JP2 is not the “clearly best” sequel that most people think it is.

They need to go back to animatronics

2nd Footage Released Ahead of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM Trailer

Didn't realize we were getting a trailer this early but that's good news.

Goddamn I love this franchise.

i can’t believe there are actually tv spots advertising a fucking trailer release. that’s beyond retarded to me

Had no ideal another one was planned. I didn't reallylike the last one too much, seemed unnecessary.

I'll still watch though, look forward to a better movie please.

With the military-raptor angle that they were going for in Jurassic World there is a perfect opportunity to go for a Dino Crisis adaptation here dammit!

Gotta give the talking heads time to prepare their two hour podcast on the Easter Eggs and predictions.

I wonder if they'll ever make a Jurassic Park movie where dino destruction is not the centerpiece.

I think it would be interesting to see a film where a competitor to InGen rises up and the film is about how InGen deals with it. Maybe throw in some crazy dino shit right at the end, but make most of the film a corporate thriller.

It would be an interesting way to expand the JP universe.

That would be brand suicide.

This would be the equivalent of making another Lord of the Rings movie except getting rid of the grand quest and just having it be about Frodo and Sam feuding with their neighbors in the Shire.

I'm looking at it two ways:

1. The movies were never totally about dino destruction. If you watch the first film, there is a lot in that movie that's not rampaging dinosaurs. Yes, it builds up to that, but there's a lot of other stuff to chew on, like the science behind dino creation, the business side of the park etc.

2. Like I said, it could be a way to expand the JP universe. Just why in the hell HASN'T a competitor risen up at this point anyway? In the real world, competitors ALWAYS come along. And if it's destruction you must have, then two groups making dinos can lead to 2x the mayhem.

Obviously they want to keep the franchise going, and I want to see them keep it going. But you can't just do the same thing over and over and over. And the best film in the franchise--the first one--is much richer, and more layered, than its sequels. It makes sense that to get back to making that quality of film, you have to make another film that has more going on on a story level than just T-Rex fucking shit up.

You can say that about a lot of movies.

There's a lot in Lord of the Rings that isn't about the quest to destroy the ring

There's a lot in the Godfather that isn't about the mafia

etc

Like I said, if they want to end on a big, crazy finale, I get it. I mean, it wouldn't be JP without some of that.

But my point is they need to work on coming up with clever, engaging stories to keep the franchise feeling fresh. They have to keep audiences from feeling like "been there, done that."

The problem with Jurassic World wasn't the dino action, it was pretty much everything else.
