Junior dos Santos say Ngannou doesn't know how to Box

Yeah, BB could have won without that nasty KO. He was just having his Wrestlemania moment lol. Poor Bart Gunn never lived any of the B4A down, he had a chip on his shoulder and something to prove after all of that. Ended up TKOing Cabbage in ROTR, before ultimately being allowed to live by Minowaman in PRIDE. Dude had nuts.

He had unreal power, but you're right, BB was on another level in that department. I think with this fight, people underestimate how hard it is going to be to hit a boxer like Fury. Sure, puncher's chances are a thing, but catching him flush is going to be a struggle for Francis. Hard to not be interested in this, but your assessment is my thoughts to a T.

Even Francis would agree. He never had crisp boxing, he always been wild and beyond powerful. And he knows how to connect, he's precise when he wants to.

Yea, exactly

Threw a crazy looping overhand right that left him off balance, and got countered beautifully by Ngannou who is clearly the better boxer of the 2

Doesn't mean Ngannou has a change against Fury... but he's definitely better than JDS

Even in that gif Ngannou shows terrible technique. He's the Wilder of mma, he's not the better boxer. He has a chin and just needs to land one clean punch.

Doesn't really matter with all that Ford Escort power in them hands

Its a 10 round fight ffs.

10.

Probably 4-5 too many for Francis anyway.

This is going to be what it is..a farce.

Lets see if Fury just takes it easy or actually goes for the finish.

Anyways, I just realized I missed the Vale Tudo rematch between JDS and Werdum? Was it a good fight?

Not really a good fight. Both fighters way past their prime, obviously, and although JDS won and acted like he was back as the best fighter on the planet (he was happy and emotional, I understand and give him that), what struck me while watching the fight was that he hasn’t evolved a single bit since he lost his belt to Cain 62 years ago.

Its the 3rd punch in this series that makes me think JDS is sort of right.

Guys that throw that kind of punch should have learned a thing or two from Todd Duffee about it:

However, there is no doubting Ngannou's power. If you look up 'Dirt Napping' in the dictionary when you get to the part right after 'e.g.' you will see the following:

Came looking for something that hasn't been said 10,000 times, with no success. So, to end this on a positive note, let's forget about this useless banter and look at this instead:

Thread jacker.
On a side note, that's probably where the wonderbra idea originated.

Duffee himself didn't learn and did the very same against Reem years later, getting killed again.

Derrick Lewis is a fun and entertaining guy, but low skill and a record to match. I wouldn't read too much into that win.

JDS took life changing beatings in two losses to Cain. By the time he's fighting Ngannou, Dos Santos was already knocked out by Cain, Overeem and Stipe.

He then gets knocked out by Ngannou, Blaydes, Rozenstruik and Gane all in a row.

Dos Santos looked like cooked cat shit in the fight with Francis.

Lewis beat Ngannou ass.

I don't want to hear the opinion of a dude who is for sure getting flat lines if they were to fight. Period. I don't care what any mma fighter thinks because they would grt floored by him.

The thing is though this power stuff is useless unless you have great set ups, every adult male has power, but if you go in with an elite HW boxer you won't land nothing, you have to have great set ups and have a lot of experience.

I just don't believe Francis is gonna land much of anything, which will be the issue.

I'm no Francis hater, he is getting paid and that is awesome, but remember he spent an entire fight playing patty cake with Derrick Lewis. When he gets in the ring and Fury decides its time to deliver some serious artillery Francis is going to rethink everything he thought he knew about boxing. Fury can change his life for the worse if he so chooses. Francis is fooked barring a 1988 Olympic USA vs USSR Hockey style miracle

Francis is only any good winging in a haymaker or when his opponents are legs platted or backing up with no decent footwork.
He is basically like a hefty 14year old fighting 12yr olds

The only way he does anything is if Tyson showboats unnecessarily or he lands a lucky hook coming out a tie up

The fight will be a farce if it goes more than a few rounds. Fury should be able to end it whenever he wants, but I suspect it will end up like Floyd-conman, and he'll carry him for several rounds. The Saudis are paying a lot of money for this clownshow, so they'll expect it'll last longer than it should.

He’s coming off absolutely jelly rather he’s right or wrong. Of course Francis was a HW MMA champion, not a boxer…two different sports and next to the HW Boxing Champion of the world he should 100% look like he doesn’t belong in there. Only by a miracle he KO’s Tyson.
