Gary Goodridge was a Golden Gloves champ, wasn't he?
Anyways, I just realized I missed the Vale Tudo rematch between JDS and Werdum? Was it a good fight?
JDS was always the worst matchup for Werdum. Far superior striking and excellent TDD.mmm... it was a scrap
Both looked juiced up, but JDS patiently took Werdum away with punches thst eventually opened a nasty cut in fabricios eyelid.
Werdum attempted a few td but was easily stuffed by a more mobile and less lethargic JDS. Werdum looked tentative, should have thrown more leg kicks, and his striking seemed to regress from his ufc title run.
I think it's a bad matchup, but prime Werdum would win.JDS was always the worst matchup for Werdum. Far superior striking and excellent TDD.

He fell in love with that overhand right, especially after the Cain KO, but he was he relying on speed. As soon he started to lose a little bit of hand speed, he missed a lot and got countered bad.JDS' boxing isn't very good either, his favorite punch looks like a baseball pitch.
Was watching an interview with Butterbean about his fight at Wrestlemania with Bart Gunn. He said that when he went in, he was kinda worried, bc Gunn was a brawler who threw powerful shots from weird angles. But the WWF had pushed Gunn into boxing for real, and he took it seriously. When Butterbean noticed Gunn was there to box, he wasn't nervous anymore and literally murdered Bart Gunn's career (RIP).

He said that if he'd have just done what he did to all of the other wrestlers he'd fought in the Brawl 4 All, that it would have at least been 50/50, bc he wasn't sure he'd be able to withstand it if Gunn landed, and Gunn might have, except he wanted to play Butterbean's own game, and was a beginner.
If Frank shows up to box, he's going down. If he shows up to do what he does, he has a chance. He shouldn't play Fury's game, he should do his best to make it wild. Unfortunately, he will probably box, and it will probably be boring.
It wasn't that good to be honestGary Goodridge was a Golden Gloves champ, wasn't he?

He was 35 and destroyed Lewis 3 months before that fight.
he's a character from one of the best episodes of the early seasons of the Simpsons. give it a watch, youll laugh your ass off. its called "Homer's Enemy" from season 8. once you watch it, @KnockoutArtist's post will be that much funnier.
I don't know who Frank Grimes is, but this is such a brutal post lol.

to be fair, JDS lost to Yorgan cause he broke his shoulder. he didnt actually get KO'd.
I hope he tries what he did against Jarzinho, wild off balance swings with his chin in the air, Fury may find a few openings ha ha

Yeah, BB could have won without that nasty KO. He was just having his Wrestlemania moment lol. Poor Bart Gunn never lived any of the B4A down, he had a chip on his shoulder and something to prove after all of that. Ended up TKOing Cabbage in ROTR, before ultimately being allowed to live by Minowaman in PRIDE. Dude had nuts.Such a flush shot lol. Like hitting a punching bag!
