Opinion Journalists you respect

Walter Kronkite should be an obvious.

But since he's dead, nobody.

Although I did see Tim Dillon, a somewhat popular pro-Trump right winger starting to turn on him

"ICE snatching up 6 year olds, and going to high school graduations is barbaric. The left may be crazy, but the right is just plain stupid."

In general NO.
I once had to know that journalists are in dependence from their boss and boss does have managers and redactors.
So called independent journalists are in dependence from ...will media post their articles or NO....because they aren't employees with fixed contracts... if article will get purchased, they are getting payment for autorship rights etc. If no, good buye.

Bloggers, channels etc: dependence from clicks, etc and subs etc.

Once I was shocked but later get core here when one musician had answered question : how do you see difference between prostitute and journalist?
He answered : prostitutes more often are doing their Job honestly.

If he was random blogger, I didn't had paid attention but from someone who had nothing and climbed up till sell more than 40000 tickets during financial crisis it is different salt from someone who isn't an idiot or looser.

I really like Jake Hanrahan. He's done some of the best reporting on Ukraine going all the way back to the Maidan protests of 2014 (often at great personal peril). I'm really enjoying his new project, Away Days

I guess any that write for a reputable publication. I can't include anyone working for a tv news network that only cares about ratings.

Funny that's pretty much all people are referring to itt, if that tells you anything about how people get their news.

As someone who went to journalism school it bums me out that I really have little respect for the industry as a whole now.

Dont get me wrong... There's a lot of great writers that specialize in subject matter that doesn't involve current news, but the click bait headlines in those publications suck too
