Joshua Van MONSTER Prospect @ Flyweight

I think he is my favorite flyweight outside the champ. Really exciting and should have got that ko tonight

He's learned from his loss, improved tremendously and he's only in his early-20's.

Darkhorse Title Challenger?

Hes a little too hittable and undersized at 125. He didn't prove he learned, he just fought another talented prospect who's even greener than he is and has big holes in their striking. Rei will learn, he needs to train abroad for a while and develop his striking over the next few years...needs a hundred or two hours of sparring lmao.

I think Vans ceiling is top 10-15 but never really contender status. Theres a lot of great prospects at 125 though, and many, many more for the UFC to still sign.

Bang average boxer. His chin also seems a bit suspect. That being said, he is only 23 which is pretty crazy. So come back to me in 3-4 years.

I anticipate him being a fun brawler long term in the division though. Very active, right up the UFC's street.

His cardio and body punching are great. He needs to solve consistently being a slow starter though, he's often given away the first round which you can't do against a certain level of comp.

He is certainly one to watch. Super active too.

If you aren't a Joshua Van fan, you aren't an MMA fan.

Most consistently entertaining fighter on the roster. Not his fault Tsuruya didn't come to fight.

He will be an exciting fighter in the top 10 but his chin will hold him back
