Lmao sherdoggers figuring out what weight cutting is. Bruh Mike Davis has an interview vid on his twitter talking about how his weight cutting is so awful he feels the walls of his stomach for hours and its like his organs are touching. Like this is the modern sport of MMA geniuses

You avoid water when cutting weight, genius.

Massive Weight cuts are for pussies..

Ill never understand it.. your destroying your body and longevity of your career

No real fighter should be cutting more then 10lbs max IMO.... nothing would be best...you will be at your absolute strongest and healthiest and faster both physically and mentally if your not severely dehydrated 24hour before...

Slowly its becoming clearer to people...i hope this trend in MMA dies out soon...

Look at Alex P... At 185 vs now

What a stupid take.

Conor McGregor was at his best @ FW ... cut to shred, huge for the weight ... right after he stopped doing this is when he started to lose.

Roberto Duran was 72 -1 is a lightweight; the moment he went up is when he started losing.

And yes, look at Alex Pereira ... Incredible record as a MW, for many years in Glory ... hit-and-miss @ LHW .

In the UFC, went right in there and became the only man to ever defeat Adesanya at MW (at the time).
Just because he lost, on the return match, don't forget he was completely out fighting Adesanya until he got caught.

Since his move up in weight, Pereira's ability at LHW doesn't mean he was "too light all along" ... it just means he is a bad mofo in both divisions.

He would still decimate DDP, Strickland, Whittaker, and (yes) Adesanya at MDH .

Massive weight cuts are for people who want to cheat the system and for the most part have some form of mental weakness...( Alex P not being one but conor and No MAS duran yes)

Conor is a front runner bully so him doing it makes total sense...

Alex P..had no business at 185 and was losing to Izzy in the first fight , being saved by the bell first ..before catching izzy late for TKO not even a KO...he was then Knocked out cold in the rematch...compared to him at LHW its a hole nother story .. its simple science
