He doesn't even have a wrestling backround. He was able to stuff Prime Edgar 2X and Juiced Prime Mendes 2X repeatedly. Those 2 are GOAT wrestlers in MMA history.

that's why I say barao is the best Even if you catch him hurt or off balance you can't take him down. It is insane.

Barao never quite fought wrestlers like Edgar or Mendes though. The best he has faced is Dillashaw. Aldo has shown more impressive TDD so far. He just does everything right. He's also the best at getting back up to his feet, when he's not gassed of course.

He is helped out by the manlet nature. It's pure physics. Lower center of gravity, him and his opponent are closer to the ground so they keep their balance better than regular humans. I'm more impressed by somebody like Arlovski's TDD.

At one point in the first fight, amid beating the shit out of Barao, Dillashaw caught Barao off guard and got deep on a double while Barao was basically standing straight up. I don't understand the physics behind how Barao stuffed that one, but he did. Those two are something else when it comes to takedown defense.

that shit is crazy. like we see other guys who are basically impossible to take down who hand fight or balance, but someone gets a good shot on aldo or barao and they don't even move.

Yep. In the second mendes fight, chad got him on his butt and Aldo threw his hips one way, and then back the other and threw chad off of him. It's not just one or two things, it's a combination of all the things you mentioned,as well as having strong hips, and good reflexes.
