Assuming all three never fight again, (Anderson retires after DC fight)...

Who had the best career?

Who was your number 1 UFC fighter?

Anderson will be number one unless GSP comes back and takes over the a MW division. The guy is fighting a current LHW champ, and former HW champ. GOAT. Win or lose. Especially if he wins.

Jones will be a " what could have been" unless he gets smart and take business seriously.

Fedor is tarnishing his legendary career by smashing cans, then getting beat up by guys who got cut by the UFC.

Wait... which one of them is actually undefeated? Jones has easily had the best career because he never lost. Obviously the Hamill DQ was a joke. So how is it not Jones? Jones, in my opinion also fought the better fighters. Bader, Shogun, Rampage, Machida, Rashad, Vitor, Chael (meh), Gus, Glover, DC, OSP that's a helluva resume. I think he's the GOAT but I also believe he will come back and fight again and do it dominantly.

In your scenario does Anderson retire on a win over DC? If so then Anderson. If not then GSP.

Jones can never be because he just got busted and was a suspect before, plus his eye-poking bs=no way goat material unless you have zero ethics as a fan, then you can go to hell with your unethical opinion!

Resume? GSP, Silva, Jones.

Finishes and spectacular shit...

Anderson no question. Sometimes it's how you win.

George Saint Pee-air never didded the steroids!!!

GSP unless you count a couple of steroid cheats as the greatest.

Silva. GSP is great too but Silva was a risk taker and put on shows for the fans. The guy has a record 10 title defenses while fighting like this:

We've seen how hard it is for great fighters to defend the belt even just 2 or 3 times.

I would say GSP. He really crossed over as a draw and general interest piece in a way that only Brock and Ronda have to this day. Jones is the biggest force of nature IMO but um yeah, his decisions have left him sidelined way too much.

GSP tops the list. Anderson and Jones are somewhere below him and the other non-cheating GOAT candidates (with asterisks beside their names)

1 Gsp
2 Aldo
3 MM
4 Silva *
5 Bones *

If Anderson wins against DC, especially in impressive fashion, i would currently have the goat list as

Fedor (due to legacy and skillset being unmatchable at his peak.)
Anderson (due to performances, skillset and legacy, though somewhat tarnished)
GSP (could easily be #1 or 2 in terms of skillset and legacy, boring decisions hold him back)
Bones (Would have previously been on track to overtake the #1 or 2 spot)
MM (Skillset wise he could easily rank much higher, at the bottom due to lack of competition)

If Anderson loses, especially with a mediocre performance or devastating KO, then i'd currently have it

Fedor
GSP
Bones
Anderson
MM

It's insane at this point that anyone would put Bones over Aldo.

I've always insisted it's GSP. He's the best. People are finally starting the see it now, when it's too late. He was never ranked # 1 P4P on Sherdog if I recall.. when he should have been.
