Damn I forgot about this interaction. We need to see some more of this Jon Jones.
I'm not a Jones fan, but give him a break, dude. No one's perfect. Bet you have imperfections like us all, but do you want people riding your balls about it? Guess not.

Armchair psychology at its finest
"Substantial evidence"
I don't think you know what constitutes evidence. You just listed off a googled list of basic sociopathic traits. Without clear and specific examples and an objective determination that he fits those characteristics without a shadow of a doubt, it's just a lot of words but no substance. It would also need to be factored against positive exhibitions of character to create a full picture.
Again, people are capable of a multitude of polarizing characteristics. Light, dark and all things between.
You're just cherry picking, reaching, trying to make things fit your own biased, preconceived notions.
There isn't any real critical thought and objectively that goes Into these mundane psychological assessments.
It's armchair psychology from people who've read a few Google articles but never actually experienced such humans in real life.
He wasn't so scary the entire time Francis was champion
Didn't hear a peep from him then
The truth is that most guys are probably a bit shook before entering a cage to fight against another highly trained, capable, dangerous guy. I mean, who wouldn’t be shook? Being shook is normal. Fear is normal. But for some reason being afraid or fearful gets labeled as being bad or wrong in some way. He's a total psycho, but imo he's shook. And I'm a Jones fan.
I think Jones even admitted to having a bit social anxiety. I don't think he's a fan of doing press stuff. To be honest. I sometimes get these twitches too when I get tired of smiling and putting on a face. I don't generally like public places. I rather like being by myself. Does that make me a psycho - no.
Most of you armchair psychologist's have never met a real sociopath and it shows.. lol
Combat sports is full of them. Same with the entertainment industry. A lot of the guys you believe are actually nice guys with clean images are sociopaths.
Real ones are much better at covering up their tracks and maintaining that facade.
He's a narcissist though, but so are most top level athletes. Some would say you need to be in order to be great at your chosen craft.
I dont think its fair to call him a psycho unless he has 20 bodies berried somewhere that we dont know about yet. As Ted Bundy would say there are levels to this game.
This guy is a scary mofo, i dont know him personaly he might be the nicest guy on earth but i saw many things who make me believe he might be a total psycho
Yes, there are certainly a few examples of him acting a fool. However, you're missing the point of what actually constitutes evidence in diagnosing someone a sociopath. If you don’t believe that there is substantial, glaringly obvious evidence out there… most recently being the incident in Las Vegas, then I’ll just leave you to your ignorance.
Jones is a scary dude
One of the last guys you would want to get in a dark alley with

I think a lot of people mistake narcissists for sociopaths.
Which is probably what's happening here though.
Jon is a clear narcissist. Most high level athletes are. But that distinction between the two is a big one.

Having a few lapses of character and judgement, particularly while under the influence of alcohol, while noteworthy in the interest of laying all cards on the table.. It's very flimsy. Especially when factored against positive behaviour and virtues demonstrated.
It's clear Jones is a double edged sword. And both sides need to be considered if you're going to go far enough to label someone a monster.
People, like yourself are picking and choosing moments to focus on while ignoring anything that doesn't fit the narrative.
Psychiatry is littered with men who are relatively morally just at the core, yet have histories of innumerable misdeeds as a result of alcoholism, vices, trauma or other internal conflicts.
Diagnosing someone a sociopath is an entirely different thing. Committing a few misdeeds isn't enough to justify such an extreme leap.
Again, this is literally armchair psychology from people who've read a few Google articles on sociopathic traits
