Jones needs to be humbled

Gonna be great to see Jones get his @ss whooped again. Loved seeing Gus smash him.

Kings don't need to be humble, peasants need to be humble. We are in the Jon Jones LHW kingdom right now, please learn to embrace and not hate on the greats. They are only here for 5-10 years then you got a new crop coming in, don't late the hate blind you from the fact that we are in the midst of an unprecedented run. The youngest champ in UFC history. Ran through a guantlet of former 205 kings to hold his seat, and continuing with some of the most challenging crop of contenders the sport has ever seen. His last three opponents alone had 1, 2 and 0 losses coming in to his fights and are regarded as killers. Please guys lets embrace it before he is gone and retires in a few years and we get a hectic run of guys just trading the belt back and forth because 1 guy matches up well with another, but then another guy matches better with the first. Jones is so complete he can handle a karate guy, then a bjj then another wrestler then a boxer it doesn't matter.

didn't dc lose a daughter and jones recently said whose your daddy? even if it wasn't about his daughter, jones should've worded and thought that over more

Biggest reach of the year.

lol.

Jones is the most humble champion in the UFC. Just ask him.

Jones is the #1 p4p fighter on the planet. Why should he be humble?

You know who should be humble? LESSER FIGHTERS

Waitaminute...

Jon Jones wins, becomes champion, defends the belt in exciting fashion....

And people want to see him get smashed because they don't care for his personality?

Oh Sherdog! You never disappoint.

Hey guys, what's going on in here? Any new thoughtful discussion?

No, just the daily Jones-hater circle jerk? It's impressive how much rage seems to have built up after so many wins. :icon_lol:

Sometimes I wonder if he keeps winning long enough, if some of you will just start bursting into flames.

seeing jones take a one sided beating would be so satisfying. also seeing him mentally crumble afterwards will be great also. hopefully at that point he builds himself back up as an actual humble and respectful person instead of all the fake humble bullshit sprinkled on the caulky arrogant kid

So you watch MMA to see people's spirit broken? Personally, I enjoy it for the competition and application of different techniques. But to each their own.

And caulk is for bathroom tile.

He wants to talk about Jones' meaty love length, but he's too wussy to actually type the word.

That's pretty pathetic.

At the same time i keep getting the feeling this is all scripted. Oh well, doesn't matter. It's gonna be an epic fight either way.

I actually think it is not getting the credit he thinks he deserves that is behind some of the drama. You have arguably the best p4p fighter who has beaten every challenger put before him yet most the focus seems to be his reach, eye-pokes, attitude, etc as each fight people say is the one he is going to lose. A guy that he beat and a guy that hasn't fought him yet have been trashing him for months and most people side with them. Honestly I can't really think of a bigger disparity between a champ's talent level and the lack of respect they get.

It isn't lost on me why people don't like him. He bothered me for a while as I just didn't buy the politically correct routine it seemed he was trying to portray. But it is a little strange to me that very few people seem to hold DC or Gus accountable for their roles in all this nonsense. I'm bored with the whole thing. But until Jones actually stops letting stuff get to him I think it will continue. You didn't see all this stuff with Tex or Machida. There is plenty Jones has done that he can be called on. But the one-sided criticisms and non-stop scrutiny could wear a lot of people down. At bare minimum, I am sure it doesn't increase the odds of him improving how he carries himself. Again, certainly not defending everything. But for a guy that delivers in the cage with wins in exciting fashion, the hate seems somewhat disproportionate to me. But part of it may be is that so much of what people seem to get worked up about is minor stuff IMO. Yeah things that could have been handled better but still minor stuff.

I haven't seen this much hate for a champion since Tito Ortiz back when he was LHW champ lol.
