Stipe by KO
There's no question Jones is out of his prime now. But if we take Jones at the peak of his prime, I would absolutely put him above Islam, Topuria, and Khabib at the peak of theirs. Some actually believe he's still better P4P than Islam and Topuria here in 2024
So he's a fulltime firefighter while being "decrepit"? How is he passing the physicals then? You Jon haters are setting yourselves for the biggest disappointment making threads like this. Stipe is a decrepit 42 year old who just admitted to Ariel that he has been firefighting full time these past 2 and a half years.
Jon is finishing him in any round and anyway he wants.
He looks fat, slow, stiff and sloppy like he did before he took Gane down. Stipe probably looks worse though. When you say “looks terrible”, I expect terrible. That was nothing.

He looked great against DC both times. DC was just good enough to hang with him for long stretches. He was also looking terrible vs Gane... Still defeated the then #1 HW contender in the first round. He also looked terrible vs DC 1 since he sniffed coke a week before... Still beat him.
Well, I'm saying he was as good vs DC as he is now. If he's considered bad now, then he was vs DC too...He looked great against DC both times. DC was just good enough to hang with him for long stretches.
When you said he looked terrible I thought you were going to say OSP or Santos or Reyes.
is it true ? if yes, its gonna be a quick wrap. You Jon haters are setting yourselves for the biggest disappointment making threads like this. Stipe is a decrepit 42 year old who just admitted to Ariel that he has been firefighting full time these past 2 and a half years.

We have barely seen this version of JJ fighting tho... What we have seen is an inactive fight vs Gane on the feet where JJ actually tagged Gane twice while Gane was getting pressured in the cage the entire time... The moment Gane tried to throw a punch, JJ easily dodged it and finished it on the ground... Besides the dominant win, we can't say he made a mistake because... What we have rn is a dominant win against someone who is better than Dominick Reyes for example.I think Jones made a mistake, he would do better at HW with his LHW form - this 3 year bulking is nonsense, he was ok as he was. He was 220-225 or so at LHW. And that is with strict weight/fat cutting. That is very close to Stipe weight (235). So just mild bulk, no weight cutting, Jones would be 235 for sure. He does not need 250lb, less cardio, less speed.
