What faith? If betting money wasn't against my religion I would have put massive money on Jones by decision
Can you give money to a buddy and suggest the idea ?

This is exactly right. Gane is 6-5, Jones' headkick vs DC landed about 4 1/2 feet off the floor and DC ducked into it with all his might. Jones couldn't land a headkick on Gane or even come close.OK he kicks hard. But he's fighting against GANE.
A man who is 6'4. Jones will have to do head kicks to do ANY damage.
Thing is ... is Jones flexible? Can he even reach Gane's head???
<{CMPALM}>Jones took down DC, so I am sure he can take down Gane.
He also has deadly elbows, knees, spinning backfists, eye pokes, grappling etc.
According to DC a man who fought at HW and LHW -- "Jones don't hit hard, he kicks hard." (1)

This isn't the CATLIKE Jones of 205.
Jones looks PREGNANT now.

Furthemore, Jones fights very stationary and flat footed.
You know who has similar footwork like Jones?
Derrick Lewis.
Watch what happens when Lewis tries to walk down Gane.

It takes years for your new muscles to settle in. Right now Jones is just a puffy 205er with kicks and he's fighting a guy who has similar tools, is built heavier, can slip punches really well and probably avoid any spinning shit Jones throws.
Now the other factor is the wrestling. Can jones take down GANE?
Ngannu took down Gane, but according to Rogan, Francis was 270 for that fight while Gane was 247. (2)
According to Gane, Francis didn't have technical wrestling, but his strength was overwhelming.
Gane took minimal damage, and couldn't be held down DESPITE being 23 pounds lighter.
You think GSP or Khabib would give 23 pounds to an opponent and LIVE? HELL NO.
So does Jones have anything for Gane besides his reputation?

Fans are blinded believing Heavyweights are the best in MMA, literally all they have is KnockOut power, strip that away and they are some of the worst fighter to ever compete in MMA.
Wow Gane is terrible at wrestling.
Jon's going to plant his ass on the ground and rain down elbows.
Confirmed.
Jones hasn't fought for a while, a long time, and he hasn't looked good, i mean arguably speaking, since he popped for PED, so it's hard to say.
I do think it will be one sided one way or another. If Gane's grappling is as bad as it looked against Ngannou, then Jones probably finishes him on the ground. But if it was due to Gane not expecting Ngannou to wrestle and him being much bigger and stronger, and if Jone's performance decline coincided with PED test for a reason, which no one can say for sure, then I think Gane will make Jones look bad.
We just can't say for sure. But I think this fight will be one sided one way or another.
I lean towards Gane purely based on the fact that Jones arguably hasn't looked good since he popped for PEDs, and only arguably since he did finish GUS, but hard to say if it was Gus being past it, or Jones actually being good, and I don't believe in second primes in MMA, like Khabib said.
Gane's grappling did look dogshit though.
*PictogramsJones is a hw that weight bullied and picograms vs lhws.
You wut?
Tell that to oleinik... Many big guys don't have that KO power. Picto won't either. KO power is basically tendons. You're born with it, or not.Jones moving up could also give him more power. Just like any 240-250lb athlete anyone can score a KO.
