Jon has already fought everyone and paid his dues. He's been at the champ lvl for over 14 years. If he wants to take easy legacy building and money fights, he should. He deserves it.

He has 7 impressive wins only 7 impressive opponents nothing more. And he dwarves all of those guys. Now in a weight class that he doesn't dwarf his opponents he fights a UFC1 guy and a geriatric.

Meanwhile Anderson absolutely destroyed opponents for 6 years with the exception of 3 guys in fights that weren't even close despite that and 7 impressive opponents. Anderson was ranked #1 at WW, #1 at MW and top 3 LHW

GSP had an impressive run for 10 years, 10 impressive wins and 10 separate opponents who were real threats in that period and then moved up and got another impressive win at a higher weightclass over a former LHW in a fight where he was clearly undersized
