Ah.....why?

Taylors numbers are superior to those two, so....? As they were at the NCAA level also.
I think they are both better pass catchers. And j think Gibbs is the most explosive back out there with breakaway speed.

Yards from scrimmage this year - is Bijan 2, Taylor 3 and Gibbs 5.
Thing is Gibbs shares a lot of carries as well. If he were more featured I think he’d be 1 and have at least 2-3 more TDs this season alone.

Also, last year yards from scrimmage Bijan was 4 and Gibbs was 3. Taylor was 7

So since 2024 until now Bijan has the most scrimmage yards of anyone and Gibbs is 3. with Taylor at 5.

Taylor was a 10.4 100m cat in HS a state champ, and like Gibbs ran a 4,3 40, not sure Gibbs is faster than Taylor.

Last season means nothing look at Barkley last season compared to this one.

This appears to be the Jonathan Taylor 2025.

It doesn't help Gibbs having to share carries with Montgomery.

As of right now Taylor is the best RB in football.

Sometimes it helps to have an o line that's worth a shit.

Barkleys line has fallen apart hard this year.

Amen to that, which is always kinda sad actually.

The QB gets all the props, that stud RB is a WOW, but neither ain't shit without those big guys who get ......who?

Just isn't right.

Imagine an O line with three future Hall of Famers on it, damn~~~~~~~

I'm not saying Taylor isn't top 3 and can't be argued, I'm saying look at yards from scrimmage, Bijan is the man. When I see someone who looks simply electric out there, it's Gibbs. Taylor is more a tradition back who doesn't catch nearly as many passes. If I'm starting a team I'm taking Bijan 1, Gibbs 2, and Taylor 3. But wouldn't but upset with any of them.

Taylor has had an 1800 yard season an 18 rushing TD season, and looks to be on a pace to challenge 2000 in 2025.
He also catchs the ball. Robinson hsn't gone there yet.

Both are great, do see Gibbs a wrung lower.

How good was Kimai Vidal toight, he got me thinking of the short running back, talking 5-8 and shorter

Obviously the amazing Barry Sanders, the greatest...did I really just see that......RB ever.

But the roots to this tree has to be the 5-4 national sprint chamo Buddy Young. a world class sprinter on a football field back in the 40's

Mini Max Anderson
Howard Stevens
Charlie Tolar
Darren Sproles
Mini Mac Herron

All around 5-6ish

These guys could actually hide behind the big linemen then pop out somewhere.

BS on being a national 40 champ, he did win the NCAA and USA 100 champ.

Kick returner Gerald McNeil had to be the lightest at 137 pounds, yep, super quick. Out of Baylor.

Jonathan Taylor is a bonafide stud, are we looking at a 2000 yard.25 TD season?

His 10.3/4.3 speed attached to 225 pounds is lethal.

The only RB in NFL history who at over 220 pounds ran a faster 100m than Taylor was Herschel Walker with his 10.23.

Curtis Dickey the fastest RB in the NFL a 10.10 cat was a 215 pounder.. Only NFL RB to ever be world rnked in the 100m.

The fastest RB ever was Bullet Bob Hayes while at Florida A&M.

Just found this out yesterday....

When Jim Brown did The Dirty Dozen he was still a Cleveland Brown. Apparently things were taking longer than expected, Coach Paul Brown wanted Brown back in camp, Brown pretty much.....fuck you I quit, ah......retired.

I don't like seeing all those names ahead of Jim Brown on that all time rushing list, that sucks, he;s number 11 and soon to be passed by Derrick Henry.

As we know Brown played in 12/14 game seasons, that is what hurt him, if 16 games that's another 20 games or so or another 2000 yards since he averaged 100 yards a game.

There is a high school video of Derrick Henry vs HS kids, yep, cartoonish, he was the biggest guy out there, Well it was kinda similiar watching Brown in his day, hell D line men were 250 Brown at 230 and fast.

Brown, Gale Sayers and Bob Hayes could play today, no not as dominate but could play, Hayes would still be the fastest in the league. And, Slingin' Sammy Baugh could punt today.

Hard to believe but The Kansas Comet Gale Sayers had an older bro named Roger who was a world class world ranked sprinter one of the few to beat Hayes.

1962 World Rankings

1..................................... Bob Hayes (US)....Cowboys
2........................ Harry Jerome (Canada)
3.................... Seraphino Antao (Kenya)
4................................... Frank Budd (US)......Eagles
5............................... Roger Sayers (US)***************
6.................................... Henry Carr (US).....Giants
7.................. Jocelyn Delecour (France
8........... Peter Gamper (West Germany)
9.................................. Dave James (US)
10................. Tom Robinson (Bahamas)

Tonight we could see Derrick Henry become the 13th RB to have a 12,000rushing yards career, he needs around 80 more yards.

Tonight we will also see the fastest RB in the NFL in the Dolphins De'Von Archane, while in the NCAA......10.14. Tyreek Hill ran a 10.15 to put things in perspective.chame out

The fastest RB ever was a Colt and like Archane also out of Texas A&M, talking Curtis Dickey a 10.10 and world ranked.

Looking at the career numbers of Edgerrin James, Taylor is right there with him at the same stage of the career.

Taylor does have the superior average per carry.

Taylor is the best speed/size/agility combo going today, no doubt about it.

Would ya believe Jim Brown returned kickoffs early on?

Rico Dowdle wasn't all that while at South Carolina, nothing he did there was ....wow~~~~~

He's Not a speedster with just a 4.54 40, not really all that big at 215, so what is it about the guy?

i was a running back, and like all of us we would tell you,.....just instincts, you aren't even thinking you are reacting. But there are different levels of ability. he seems to possess great vision and a geat burst, not to be confused with speed. And is hard to brong down despite not being a big guy, Skattelbo is 215 pounds,

Today Taylor went over the 1000 yard mark for 2025 he also became the top RB TD scorer in Colts history passing Hall of Famer Edgerrin James.

Now he has around 1100rushing yards, so that 2000 yard season is realistic.

Obviously he is the best RB right now in the NFL.

I had my doubts and made case for Bijan. But I will admit that at this moment. Yes. He’s the best in the game. Would be cool to see 2000 yards and 26 TDs.

Taylor
Christian
Bijan
Gibbs.

That’s my order now. Is still take Bijan starting a team today bc of his age. But for this season. That’s my order.

I can't disagree I think ya nailed it.

Obviously young Robinson wil be getting better and better he is a stud.

Some fav names for obshure RB's

Cyril Pinder Eagles
Pervis Atkins Rams
Elijah Pitts Packers
Israel Lang Eagles
Junior Coffey Falcons
Prentice Gautt Cards
Carver Shannon Rams
Hewritt Dixon Raiders
Tucker Fredrickson Giants
Travis Williams Packers.......ended up out on the streets and homeless, was a great kick returner.,a 9.3 sprinter.

All we heard tonight was how fast Gibbs is, would ya believe it wasn;t so long ago the Lions had an Olympic sprinter at runninbback,

A former California State HS 100m champ.
