Sure Jones can lose, anyone can lose.
Jones is going to break all of the haters hearts. I'm a Jon Jones hater, but I have accepted the reality that despite me wanting to see him be the victim of an epic beatdown, he's going to continue to destroy people. Sure he might lose one or two here or there, but ultimately, he will hold that LHW strap until he can't cut the weight anymore, then he will move up and start humiliating the HWs until he gets himself in the position to take that strap too.
The butthurt around here will be HUGE, but I despite being a hater, have learned to accept the fact so I don't have to deal with the dissapointment.
While I think Jones is the most skilled LHC we have seen, I think somone is going to crack him eventually. He just doesnt seem to me like the kinda guy that is going to take a punch. That is...if someone ever can hit him. Damn I just realized people hardly ever hit him. War Jones.
Jon Jones will be dethroned by either Gus, Glover or Mousasi. Guaranteed. :icon_twis
For some reason I have a hard time seeing Jones Humiliating Cain. But the rest of the HW roster I can see for sure.
When Jones became champion in 2011, I wrote here, that he will easly remain champion till 2013 and the only thread for him was Machida.
After he def Machida, I knew Jones reign will be secured till 2014, unless he face Machida again.
I hate Jones attitude, but that just the way it is with him - he is from matrix.
So - Gus, Glover, Mousasi - sorry dude, but they dont have anything for Jones. Jones propably could beat Mousasi with one hand tied behind his back. And other two... Jones wouldnt even sweat.
So I still belive, only Machida is a threat for Jones. Rest of the division can do shit to Jones.
How about "based on performances against the same opponents"?

Both Glover and Gus are as dominant as Jones compared to rest of the division in both career stats and vs the same opponents and even better than him in a number of key areas. A few select flashy moves and highlights isn't the same as an overall better game. He's good but not immortal and there's a couple of guys currently on his level working their way up......
I thought that you would at least say that Cormier will beat him. None of those guys that you listed stand a chance.
I don't see anyone beating Jon Jones but Shogun. Only he has both KO power and submission skills needed to defeat the champ. Gus loss set him back quite a bit. He needs to return to Machida time shape to challenge. I believe Belfort set the blueprint - those long arms and skinny legs are just asking to be twisted.
Mousasi also has a chanceif he beats Gus. As for Gus, I think he will get taken down and elbowed violently.
