Jon Jones quacking situation.

Kid had a good point that Jon can't drop the belt and retire because his personal life is such crap that he would be left with nothing

I always said Jon is just like Rousey, in his mind being the goat is his whole persona. Once that goes then he'll go down hill fast.
 
Jones and the UFC is only looking worse by allowing this to continue. Tom winning fights only makes them look worse. I’m fine with that. After Aspinall beats Jones who is even close to Tom in terms of contention? I don’t even believe that guy is in the UFC yet… especially at HW.

Yeah, no one comes close to Tom, he could smash every record at HW with ease imo. It's a shame he's been out an entire year now because of this mess.

Who else in mma history refused to fight because they were afraid to lose? I can't think of anyone, his record must mean a very special amount to him. All other champs were like whatever, I'll keep fighting because everyone loses eventually. It's just the nature of the sport but Jon can't accept that.
 
Jon jones missed a great opportunity to shit all over Tom. If I was Jon, after the stipe fight, I would have called him into the cage and hold the belt up and say “ is this what you want so bad?” Then throw it right at his feet saying “Here you go. Quack at that bitch!” And walk off. Leave him to forever be a paper champion in people’s eyes

Hopefully he has smart people on his team. If I was him, I'd agree to fight Cyril Gane @ UFC 317, but I'd demand Dana put in the contract that Jon Jones must defend the title against him (should Aspinall win) by the end of 2025, and that if Jon Jones ducks & vacates, Aspinall's interim title is converted to undisputed, and he is credited with 2 title defenses.

From what I gathered it's the UFC that's holding Tom on ice. Tom's been consistently asking for fights on his YouTube channel (any fight). They're keeping Tom from fighting in hopes Jon will change his mind. I'm sure Tom needs to make money, it's been a year ffs, smh.
