A .22 is not a BB gun. At close range, a .22 can do quite a bit of damage, especially to the head. The bullet generally doesn't leave the skull, so instead it bounces around, tearing up brain tissue.

The US military uses the M16 and M4 as the primary rifles, which are chambered in .223 (5.56mm) compared to the much larger 7.62x39 round used by the AK47 and its clones. The reason? The smaller round does more damage when it hits the body as it tears through organs.

A BB gun, though, basically won't even draw blood usually.

See the difference?
the US use the 5.56 because the rnds maim you, weighs less, and has less recoil wars are all about attrition 7.62x51 were designed to kill, weigh more, and have more recoil. If money wasn't the issue it would be 7.62x51 vs 7.62x39.

He'd also know to disclose to the police immediately that he has a loaded hand gun with in reach under his seat.. he knows what hes doing...everytime
100% on that. 1st thing you do if you have a loaded weapon in your'vehicle and you are stopped by the Cops is you immediately and calmly advise the officers of that. It's the best thing to do. It just looks BAD if they find it by searching your car and you didn't tell them it was there.
So i read, the Glock was under jon's seat and i would guess he shoved it there immediately he got stopped. just my speculation.

I'm curious if they're going to bother to match the shell-casing to the Jon's Glock 0.22 or not. I would guess probably they wouldn't bother a crime-lab with that, as nobody was injured or hit but.....maybe someone could provide input on that?

Jon Jones needs this type of chaos in his life. He has some serious childhood trauma that has lead to his belief that he is not man enough. The constant need to take peds and ED drugs shows this. Also his choice of career. He should probably get some serious counselling sessions. Serious daddy issues. The fact that his dad created three beast of men, and he has daughters also weighs on him. The help he gets would allow him to realize having girls has nothing to do with masculinity. But he has to figure that out.

Most underworld assassinations in my country have been executed using a .22 weapon. So .22 is not the joke that people think that it is. It can kill.
With that being said, what kind of a fucking pussy carries a .22 pistol? Be a man and go .45 ACP.
South America? you don't have to say, no worries, I'm just guessing on that.

It’s like a bunch of little kids getting excited about toys

Once you become a gun owner, especially a handgun owner, they do tend to become objects of interest. Even to a complete novice like me who only recently became one.
I won't bore you with the story of why I became one but it's for home defense. So like with all the things that I become interested in, I did some research first before acquiring my firearm of choice. And that research required that I learn all about gun safety first & then how to choose a weapon that's right for me.
So, yeah, there is a bit of excitement in the process just like with all new endeavors.
But ( at least for me ) that excitement was nothing like I felt as a kid getting a new toy. It was totally different for me. It's difficult to describe but there really was nothing childish about it. The sense of immense responsibility was what I remember most.

A perfect example of how insane Americas stance on guns is.

A man with multiple arrests for being intoxicated and irresponsible is allowed to own firearms.

What could possibly go wrong.

Isn't 9mm relatively weak? Elaborate thx
Not at all. The 9mm has a higher velocity than that of the larger 45 but ballistic tests show that they both have about the same stopping power. A 9mm is a useful defense weapon.

Guy admits he has possible brain trauma from getting punched in the head and has drinking/drug problems, and he's driving around shooting out of his vehicle...

"Police found a loaded Glock 44, a sleeve of .22-caliber shells ..."

That's it ! Jon Jones is the real Most dangerous man on the planet.

Dont be one of those liberals caught with your pants down, if shit really hits the fan. A guy on my facebook made a similar post as yours and also bragged about all the food he's got stored. Hes very frail and lives pretty close and a beast like me has to eat every couple hours. If I start go a couple days, I will be heading there first.

I hear ya man, that box is checked. At the same time, don't be that person who believes that because someone looks like a "liberal" that don't exercise their 2nd amendment rights.

But why get obsessed with different guns, ammo, what they do etc. You are not a soldier on a battlefield. You are %99 likely to never use that gun in real life. All you need is a simple pistol to stop someone,no need to get in crazy discussions lol.

Is it illegal to have it?

It's probably illegal to fire it from a vehicle while drunk driving.

Just a guess though. Don't have the legislation in front of me at the moment.

They are all medium rounds.
