Actually I saw a tweet a couple months or so ago where Jones specifically said “I’m not fighting Stipe”. Get your facts straight.

nah Jones offered to fight to Stipe years ago. Dana said "no".

I don’t understand this. Most of us can agree that Jones would run through Stipe. He is just better in every aspect. This would have been a great way to show that he is without a doubt the next contender for the HW belt

What an absolutely shocking turn of events.

Between Picto's hilarious reluctance to fight at HW and Uncle Goof being a cheap idiot there's basically no chance we see him any time soon.
 
imagine still not thinking this dude is either suspended or just plain scared of HW.
 
according to JJ's coach, Stipe's not a good challenge for him which is BS because Stipe's a killer. JJ is a good fighter but he needs to step up and fight soon because the longer he waits the more ring rusted he'll become and the more likely he'll lose due to it. He needs to stay active and accept fights. Stipe may be too much for him for his first fight in the HW. He should fight someone like Derrick Lewis first just to test his skills, movement and conditioning against HWs. If anyone deserves the Conor treatment where a title shot is given for the fighter in a heavier weight class, it's JJ.
 
I knew Jones would never fight Ngannou but I didn't think he'd duck Stipe too. I guess he isn't ever fighting at heavyweight. Maybe have him fight in a number one contender fight at LHW since the division has moved on without him.
