Yes he is but that wasn't my point. It's merely an example of how lax punishments are in the US for DUI's.

You get 2 here in Canada and your license is gone permanently. Even one you end up with a criminal record and many companies will not hire anyone with a criminal record even if there is no driving involved.

DUI's and firearm offenses here are pretty much FFL offenses. In the US it seems it a "please don't do it again"...
