Damn it's bad when a guy named CTEGod doesn't agree with your assessment OP.
He is on a witch hunt for Jon.You know it was just random a pregnant woman was in that car, y'all make it sound like he was hunting for a pregnant woman to hit. Also he left his identification which means it wasn't a hit and run IMO, the judge was flat out wrong. He was fleeing to avoid prosecution for a non violent drug charge which is understandable he left his information which is why he was discovered so fast. Calling that a hit and run was a stretch went against the spirit of hit and run laws which are to prevent people escaping responsibility for accidents, Jones left his car and info and the scene and was not doing this nor do most people convicted of hit and runs.
People get into car accidents. Who the person in the other car happens to be in entirely RANDOM.
Jon Jones is a reliable, you can always count on him fucking up.
Admin note: Hi everyone, welcome back the forums. We migrated our servers, so we had some expected downtime. We're glad to be back, and in time for the insane news that broke this morning. We know you're dying to talk about it:
Edit: The migration is taking longer than we expected, but we are still working on it. Trust me, we're chomping at the bit to get this show on the road too.
On Thursday morning, KOAT 7 News in Albuquerque, New Mexico, reported that Jon Jones has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses. Those charges include an aggravated DWI, the negligent use of a firearm, possession of an open container of alcohol in his vehicle and operating a vehicle without insurance.
According to arresting officer Brian Johnson, gunshots were heard after 1 a.m. on Thursday in Albuquerque, and officers responded to the scene. They found Jones in his vehicle, where Jones claimed he was unaware of shots fired. Upon questioning, Jones admitted he had been driving, while officers took note of his potential intoxication. He was given a sobriety test, which led to a Breathalyzer where he blew over two times above the legal limit.
When searching his vehicle, the police found a handgun under the driver’s seat, as well as a partially-empty bottle of Recuerdo -- the tequila brand launched by fellow UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal -- behind the passenger seat. Jones was subsequently charged with aggravated DWI, the negligent use of a firearm, possession of an open container at that time. When checking his information, the police also discovered he was driving an uninsured vehicle, or at least one that did not have its papers in the confines of the vehicle.

So, what do you think? Will this blow over, or is the UFC actually going to do something now? Either way, please use this thread for all things Jones and his driving and gunning.
Yeah, he didn't intend to drive drunk or discharge a firearm in city limits.Negligence by defintion means he didn't intend to do something wrong. He was negligent and irresponsible but that doesn't make someone a bad person.
The alcohol magically entered his body and the hand gun just fired all by itselfYeah, he didn't intend to drive drunk or discharge a firearm in city limits.
The "people aren't perfect" argument is about the weakest argument to defend idiotic/criminal/(insert whatever negative human action you want here) in my opinion. Is there really a single person on earth that has the assumption that a perfect human exists on this planet? It's a given people aren't perfect. Doesn't create a defense for breaking the law. As far as Jones getting knocked out...I could care less. The way he's going, he's going to knock himself out anyway so looks like people won't have to wait long...People aren't perfect.
This ain't a substitute for the KO y'all are craving.
And now that it’s about Jon, people are in full control and able to make rational decisions when under the influence here we go.Yeah, he didn't intend to drive drunk or discharge a firearm in city limits.
Even considering the massive size of the Sherdog forum DBs, there's no way it's going to take that long. Even with changing DB types, it's all SQL so there's really not that much conversion to do. Load balancing...come on. It's just mirroring. And since they're using AWS or some other cloud provider, there's not even that much to do for the admins.Yeah, if your migration goes smoothly. You're likely talking about multiple load balancing servers and a shit load of data. Could be they migrated to a different DB platform, web server platform, etc that complicated the migration.
You’re going to be waiting forever, Jon is literally a guy who likes to get drunk and have fun and you’re trying to turn it into the apocalypse don’t you realize how ridiculous you sound. The "people aren't perfect" argument is about the weakest argument to defend idiotic/criminal/(insert whatever negative human action you want here) in my opinion. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Mixed Martial Arts fighter Jon “Bones” Jones was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, negligent use of a firearm and possession of an open container early Thursday morning.
According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to the area of 3rd Street and Central Avenue just after 1 a.m. in reference to gunshots fired. When they arrived they found Jones inside his vehicle with the engine on. Jones told police he did not know anything about the shots fired.
Officers noticed signs of intoxication and police say Jones admitted to officers that he had been driving earlier and intended to drive now.
Police say Jones consented to a sobriety test and performed poorly on it. Police add that when he was given a Breathalyzer he tested at least twice above the legal limit.
After Jones was arrested police found a black handgun under the driver’s seat and a half-empty bottle of Recuerdo 750ml behind the passenger seat.
Jones was charged with aggravated DWI, negligent use of a firearm and possession of an open container.
Let me ask you this straight out. Do you think it is ok that Jon Jones drove drunk and fired his hand gun off while drink in city limits? You’re going to be waiting forever, Jon is literally a guy who likes to get drunk and have fun and you’re trying to turn it into the apocalypse don’t you realize how ridiculous you sound.

It doesn't take 2 days. I've done huge migrations myself in a few hours. You plan ahead and do the prep work ahead of time to minimize downtime.
