News Jon Fitch retires,

I am born the same place as Jon fitch even meet his family several times and I got to say he had a great career and I wish him the best in his life and I hope he enjoys it with his two kids
Czechoslovakia?

Just announced it in Bellator after a loss. Like his style or not he was one of the best Welterweights ever for years. Hespect

GSP beat him to retirement twice on top of destroying him in the cage. He was a poor mans Colby

Still remember when he was smiling against Hendricks and got knocked out like a second later. Seriously though, he had a nice career and good retirement

he was one of the best WW ever for years? that doesn't make sense.

dude was overrated back then and he sure doesn't rate all time.
Hes pretty much tight though. He was never particularly exciting to watch but during his prime years he was second only to GSP.

If the rankings weren't so UFC centric, he should rightfully still be in the top 10 today.

He was as solid at number 2 as GSP was at number 1.

His style wasn't exciting but he was really good at it and it got him the W.

Fitch is pretty badass, grindy tough dude. The beating he took from GSP was insane.
That was my most anticipated fight on the weekend, and Neiman looks like a very promising guy.
Hope Fitch enjoys his retirement.

Honestly this guy deserves way more respect hes a legend just for the fact that he has been fighting into his 40s and winning against very good comp.

He gave us some good fights. I hope he enjoys his retirement.

Bizarre that fitch went to a draw with rory and then lost to the guy that rory controlled easily.

Rory has one of the best ground games in WW. He handled Maia pretty damn easily as well.

Maia took him down and controlled him pretty well for a bit, didn't he? Maybe I'm thinking of a different fight. Rory won convincingly of course but I could swear I remember him having to get out of a tough spot in that fight.

Never was a big fan of his style but hats off to a good career and to never coming off as a shitty person.
