So we know the wrecking machines that both of these guys were at their best, but who would have the edge if they squared off?

Johny obviously gave GSP a hell of a fight, and has a lot of similarities to guys who gave Anderson trouble like Chael and Weidman.

Fight takes place at 185, in both of their respective primes.

My pick is Hendricks to win via TKO. He was just as good of a wrestler as Weidman and Chael, and a more dangerous striker with legit KO power. Plus he had cardio for days and a better chin than the two aforementioned guys.

Anderson has far superior standup as well as a serous reach advantage. I doubt Hendricks would be able to land clean during the whole fight. Even if he did secure the occasional takedown, Anderson has a very dangerous sub game from his back and could catch him in an arm bar or triangle.
