Johny Hendricks still making excuses about Thompson loss

Shitting on your training partners is so low. Even if they didn't want to spar with Hendricks you don't tell that to people. Its between you and them in the gym, nobody needs to know about this. And making it like an excuse is even worse.

I hope he has zero training partners for next camp. I hope nobody helps him, I sure wouldn't if I was a fighter/sparring partner. Help him and then he goes around your back and calls you basically a pussy? Fuck that. I'm glad Wonderboy knock him the fuck out.

He's got that championship mentality. He thinks he's the best in the world, so he has to come up with reasons as to why he lost.

I think most fighters likely do this, but just keep those opinions to yourself.. Its disrespectful to your opponent.

I've just never seen a fighter that is so unlikeable. Ever. I never say this about fighters, but Hendricks is the one fighter I enjoy seeing losing.

I actually just rewatched the Hendricks Thompson fight and my goodness, Hendricks looked completely lost standing with Thompson. Thompson made Hendricks look like Legacy material.

It's a strategy to get the person you are talking to to say, 'yes', even if they don't agree with 'what you are saying'. Then you can comfort yourself that they did in fact agree because they said yes or nodded.

I think Hendricks may be a bit fragile in the ego department.

Anyone else notice that Big Rigg's responses sounded premeditated? Like, he had a notepad with his excuses all written out for a friendly radio interview. The interviewer couldn't get him to shut up once he got going.

"How am I going today? Well, better now that I don't have all these problems that I had going into the Thompson fight. Firstly, the weight..."

"How are my kids? Kids are great! Even better now that they know their daddy has proper sparring partners for his next fight, which he didn't have going into the Thompson fight..."

He was a multi time ncaa division 1 champion, and the WW champion. He doesn't lack "the extra gear champions are born with", that's ridiculous. He lacks fight IQ in MMA, and the common sense that a high level fighter needs to be with a high level camp.
Im not a big Hendricks fan, but the guy was a destroyer til he ran into WB. You forget so quick What he did to Fitch, Matt brown, condit, GSP and lawler? Not too mention what he did to kampmann. He's legit, he's just not a smart dude. He needs to go to a good camp.
