He was a multi time ncaa division 1 champion, and the WW champion. He doesn't lack "the extra gear champions are born with", that's ridiculous. He lacks fight IQ in MMA, and the common sense that a high level fighter needs to be with a high level camp.
Im not a big Hendricks fan, but the guy was a destroyer til he ran into WB. You forget so quick What he did to Fitch, Matt brown, condit, GSP and lawler? Not too mention what he did to kampmann. He's legit, he's just not a smart dude. He needs to go to a good camp.

I like Johny and realistically, he's not as whiny as people make him sound. He made some pretty bad decisions, but if he can get his weight and training in order simultaneously, I think he's got a title run left in him.

People forget he put a beating on safemode GSP (arguably winning that fight), beat lawler once and lost a (maybe silly) decision to him in a rematch. He has shit for brains occasionally, but he's proven what he's capable of.
 
Havent listened to it but im pretty sure he made sure the listener was following him on every sentence. "You get what im saying?" "You understand where im coming from?" "Did that make sense to you?"
 
I think Hendricks is extra salty because Big Rigg Steakhouse shutdown, finally.
