Media Johny Hendricks is now a copper in Texas

Looks about 250 lbs here.

I wonder what Dana thinks when he see's shit like this. Like Mark Kerr working at a car dealership, Pantoja, Dern, Tuivasa doing food delivery.

Slaps his wife, imports more snow in for his kids to not care about, actually pays waitresses, and/or buys more dinosaur skulls.

So, I suppose this

And this

were bad investments.

maybe he can turn this cop thing into TV show fame and fortune like Sensei Seagal?
bmc

(to those that don't know. This was a "reality" show, not a movie)

Context, Pantoja was doing food deliveries during Covid which a lot of people do what they had to do to get by, also Pantoja literally just learned how to drive a automobile around the time he started to deliveries for food.

I remember reading about this a few years ago

Yes he's been a cop for awhile now. They posted photos of him in some community college affiliated cop program back in 2020.

What a change of events. Bad losing streak and couldn't even make weight at MW. Proceeds to lose his restaurant, forecloses on his house, and then gets fat/becomes a cop. Pretty brutal from going from multiple title fights at WW in arguably it's most fun era ever to that.

Not tragic though since he still has a wife, kids, and a job just quite the turn around. Reminds me like 10 years ago they found Mark Kerr and he was out of shape selling cars.

Honestly could care less about fighters and their monies. The best era of fighting for me was the Don Frye heydays and those guys of course wanted some money but it was about so much more. Listen to stories from guys in the old Pride days and its as interesting as a movie. Nowadays it couldn't make a movie of the week. Im not talking about petty drama and weigh -ins posturing , just real rough and tumble life events and men of character.

We can all see what a money fattened fighter aka mcgregor does for mma

Quite a few MMA guys have become cops, starting with Jerry Bohlander and that undefeated guy who beat Jake Shields early in his career (I forget his name). I can't say they're wrong. Better to retire from NHB/MMA when you can still mentally/physically do a job like that...unlike Penn, Bigfoot, Goodridge, etc.

He's been a cop for a while hasn't he? Unless I'm thinking of someone else.

Just fucking shave it what is the point of that hair. Its like he is In the middle of a bet he lost.
Idk why most men do that either.
Some motherfucker grow it and tie a panytail back there with that entire cueball shining in the sun… it’s worse than the hitler comb-over.

If they are that mentally attached to the hair, get a hair transplant… Johnny made enough money for a trip to Turkey, hotels and food there are amazing, and everybody I’ve seen with the procedure looks great for such a low price.

That's what im saying. I have a bald head hair fell out in the early 20s. You ain't fooling anyone.

As a GSP fan, I was not fond of Hendricks. I respected his talented, but didn't like his many excuses and likely PED use. JH certainly had a great run through the WW division when he was in his prime, but fell apart rapidly once drug testing came into effect

I hope Hendricks is happy and respect that he is serving his community as a police officer. Its a tough job, but very important.

Alot guys i knew from High school became cops -and none of it was to "serve the community". They liked the instant power, having a gun and the demand for respect that goes along with it. Most (not all) of them were sketchy at best in terms of good guy behaviour in HS -not saying they are all bad cops, but i just dont buy into the whole "I wanna serve my community.." aspect
Hendricks always struck me as a bitter guy from what I heard in his interviews.
Maybe I'm wrong about him but I wouldn't want to be pulled oveR on a bad day:

"hey, aren't you the guy that lost against GSP back in the day?"
"SIR, WOULD YOU STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE, PLEASE?"
