Put this into perspective.

Johnny has lost 2/3 title fights, with 3 of his last 4 fights being for the title. If he fought for the title next 4 of his last 5 fights would have been for the title.
 
So the fans finally did something right?

True, although you can add that after the GSP fight he said that he couldn't go any harder in the fifth than what he did, but after getting a day to think about it he started making various other excuses that made himself come off better. He's pretty obvious every time he is asked something he's not really prepared for and then changing his tune when he has thought things through how to come off as good as possible (which often has the opposite effect).
