I enjoyed the movie. I rewatched it last Friday night with my brother who hadn't seen it. I had a dream that night that John Wick was part of a suicide squad movie. Then I woke up and thought that he would actually make a really good addition to a flick like that.

Ok movie, I know its action fantasy but it bothers me having Wick kill dozens of armed men that line up exactly one by one, with enough time for Wick to dispatch the first guy and move to the next. Its luck that just keeps repeating, if he managed to gather intel, have gadgets to see foes through walls or some weird samurais sixth sense it would be a more realistic fantasy.

Keith was the goon who hanged around the head of security guy. In the Red Circle club scene, the security guy managed to shoot John twice on the chest. John falls. He retaliates and shoots Keith dead. Then the security guy and John fought in hand-to-hand combat.

John Wick - 7/10. Caught this shiz on the red box since i had a free rental, and came away liking it. I had a feeling from the reviews, it would be a Shoot 'Em Up type of movie (well-played baddie, hot chick and over the top gun play), and it was. As much as I don't like Reeves, his performance didn't bother me. Hard to rate a movie like this any higher, but overall, was worth the watch.

It seemed to lack something. Maybe lacked nudity or lacked story. The whole sacred ground hotel seemed unbelievable like something from a comic book world. I suppose he had to live there to be safe from the mercenaries trying to kill him at home.

I absolutely love this movie. I hope the next film is a prequel.

I've never really liked prequels because you lose a lot of suspense due to you knowing the protagonist doesn't die.

I would give it a solid 7. It is better than most action fair. If I was 12, I would probably think this was the bomb. I was drawn more to action sequence than the kind of silly plot. Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon is really the same story (other movies as well. It isn't a very unique story) and that movie has some neat shots top like in the parking garage. John Wick is solid and if you liked that I would recommend Death Sentence, which I think is maybe a little better.
