Great movie,

Like pretty much everyone has said it's essentially Keanu Reeves on a rampage for an hour and 30 minutes.
But what a satisfying rampage it was. Love movies that know exactly what they are.

I knew exactly where the story was going after 20 minutes and it went everywhere I expected it too. It was like a bad JCVD movie with no nudity. Was well choreographed for what it's worth, Keanu was good enough, entertaining... probably wouldn't have finished if watching it at home.

Musclecars, Jiu Jitsu, Guns. God damn tear jerking opening scenes followed by mayhem and revenge with dudes getting shot in the face with every kind of gun possible after getting thrown, armbarred, and beat the fuck down.

I'm telling you this is the greatest goddamn movie ever made.

Too much delivery is boring, but, I'm not a Transformers / Michael Bay movie fan. I like action and substance with an element of danger for the lead. It was well made but the story sucked which is huge for me to like anything. His motives to kill was not worth the hassle of everything he went though. His character is a mental midget to go through all that and clearly not as good as he thinks to kill 178 people before reaching his target, what a bloodbath... and only in a movie could so many people die like that. It was like a video game and I wished I was playing GTA V while watching it too. I could go on but you and others loved it. Meh, I didn't.

All in all I give the movie a 7.

At the start of the film we have 'neo' mourning his wife which was awkward because you could tell the director went out of his was to hide Keanu's face for the really emotionally demanding parts. This really set my expectations for the movie at a low but once the action got going the movie got fun.

I got what I expected. A over the top action film with plenty of carnage via well choreographed gun-fu and some cool bjj.
