John sees a story on the news about a man killing his dog. He realizes as long as there are bad people in the world, his dogs will never be safe. So he sets out on a crusade to rid the world of evil and dog killers.

He also teaches his dogs to use weapons and covers them from head to toe in badass Kevlar armor. Think D-Dog from MGS V.

This movie going to be the shit.

I like to see him take on some dog fighters and one of them should be a famous pro football player with lots of connections.

Laurence Fishburne Reunites with Keanu Reeves for JOHN WICK 2 Cameo

There’s been a Matrix reunion in John Wick 2 — Laurence Fishburne has joined Keanu Reeves for a small role in the film. Fishburne was photographed this week in Brooklyn by Gothamist on the set of the Lionsgate production. Fishburne’s reps confirmed that the actor was shooting a cameo.

Chad Stahelski, who co-directed the original with David Leitch, is helming the sequel. Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk is returning to produce. Lionsgate began selling foreign markets for the sequel at Cannes. The original movie grossed $43 million domestically and $35 million internationally following its launch a year ago.

Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo and Ian McShane are reprising their roles. Common has joined the cast as the villain along with Peter Stormare. Lionsgate has not yet set a release date for John Wick 2.

Reeves and Fishburne starred in all three Matrix films as Neo and Morpheus. Stahelski and Leitch played stunt doubles for Reeves in the trilogy. Fishburne will be seen next year as Perry White in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Official Title is JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2; Gets a February 10, 2017 Release Date

John Wick: Chapter 2 has gotten an official title and a release date from Lionsgate — Feb. 10, 2017.

Keanu Reeves returns in the lead role, while Common joins the budding action franchise as the movies’ chief villain, a head of security for a female crime lord. The sequel is set at least partially in Rome.

Chad Stahelski is directing the movie, which is due to begin shooting this week. (The first one was co-directed by Stahelski and David Leitch.) Basil Iwanyk is producing.

The pre-Valentine's Day Feb. 10-12 weekend is already jam-packed with choices for moviegoers, between John Wick 2, Fifty Shades Darker, The LEGO Batman Movie and The Mountain Between Us.

Keanu Reeves Reveals Details on Laurence Fishburne's Character for JOHN WICK 2

“For us it was just what is the next chapter? What is the continuation of this story?" Keanu Reeves explains. "Opening up the world – the underground world. The world behind the world in terms of the assassins. Kind of evolving the action – if the first one was a black belt, then this one is third degree black belt. It’s such a fun project and a great character.”

Reeves is joined by fellow Matrix alumni, Laurence Fishburne for John Wick: Chapter Two. The reunion might get ugly, though, seeing as Reeves' description of the new character sounds like a possible new foe.

“Laurence has this fantastic role as a character in the Underworld called The Bowery King” Reeves says. “He plays such a great character in the piece and he brings of course humour, intelligence, charisma and fascination – he’s such an incredible actor and it was a pleasure to work with him again."

"[Peter] Stormare has more of a cameo in it but again he brings such fun and mystery and this mixture of groundedness and the surreal," Reeves says of the other franchise newcomer

Ruby Rose and Common round out the cast with returning cast members Bridget Moynahan and Ian McShane. John Wick 2 is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.
