If you asked a room full of mma fighters, analysts and combat sport minds of all types if they agreed with the op's line of reasoningSo you’re hating on him for saying they’re going to do exactly what they need to do?
Okay. So you don’t think he’s qualified, fine.
But what he said is what needs to take place. So don’t hate on the guy
Remember,
Conor came in with a different game plan for the second Nate fight and won almost as a direct result. Give his coaching and his strategic planning some credit, were not talking about scrubs here. This is the world class were armchair quarterbacking for
My thoughts exactly. Agree 100%Conor's team is holding him back. I understand his loyalty but Kav sounds like he's in it for just the money now. If Conor doesn't want to end his career like Ronda he needs to branch out and find new trainers. They had bad game plans and can't properly analyze strengths and weaknesses in their game and in their opponents game. I won't be too confident in Conor doing well in any of his future fights if he sticks to only training with his current team. He has holes in his game that has been figured out and I don't think his team has the technical knowledge especially in striking to fix it.
Yeah, I’m not completely baffled with it. You’re right and I know that. I just love the sport and the discussions and asking the questions to further the topic. If you asked a room full of mma fighters, analysts and combat sport minds of all types if they agreed with this line of reasoning
The vast majority wouldnt even entertain it. Which speaks volumes about the frequency and level of education such things are operating on.
You could call Fedor's team during the latter portion of his career a bunch of frauds too. Why wasnt he using his grappling, why was he only throwing big punches and abandoning what made him so great in pride?
At the end of the day, we are only seeing a fraction of the surface level of what's actually going on. People want to act as if they cracked the code with their relatively limited understanding of the inner intricacies of the sport at the highest level.
Nothing wrong with being critical and asking questions but it can get incredibly ignorant and delusional very fast. Big reason why you seldomly see pro fighters post on any mma boards anymore.
What I said was more directed to the OPYeah, I’m not completely baffled with it. You’re right and I know that. I just love the sport and the discussions and asking the questions to further the topic.
Can’t hurt and sometimes I’m just bored. Lol I could be doing worse things online
It applies to both, so much so that I thought you were on my side lol but yeah I never think it’s bad to disagree. What I said was more directed to the OP
Shoulda made It more clear, lol.
It's pretty universal I guess.
But you're good. We don't see eye to eye on everything but I think you're one of the more educated posters here for sure.

Your thread and your response both absolutely suckQuit crying. Your tears running down your face must be affecting your ability to read my post.

Agreedthey won't fix anything. One thing i've seen in all of the videos of Mcg training, he's doing what he wants at the HE WANTS. Irish edmund can train whatever but in the end, Mcg dictates the training.
Besides, he'll gas faster if he adds more stuff into his arsenal.
