Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

I don't think that argument is going to come up at all, the argument is going to be that it was pre-meditated and Joe wanted conflict, which he's said himself in his social media posts.
Then 20 patrons will say the former inmate also wanted conflict all night and it becomes mutual and Joe walks, GG

0% chance Joe actually felt “threatened for his life”. I keep seeing that thrown around to justify assaults that could have easily been avoided. Joe could have pushed this guy to the ground with minimal effort but decided to flatline him instead. Cool KO, but now he may have to pay the price.

I'm glad I haven't faced this dilemma, as police at every level, including the FBI, Interpol, and the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department, have warned me that every part of my body, even the squishy internal parts, are considered deadly weapons, and so if in a confrontation I can't prove there's a threat of grievous bodily harm or death to myself, I'll face "super-duper ultra-felony charges" after any such encounter.

The bad part is that they also told me that I'm such a killing machine that they can't think of a scenario in which, with my skill set, I could face the threat of grievous bodily harm or death. (My lawyer had a long talk with all of the crime orgs a while back.)

Sherbros, it looks like I'll never get to fill a room of any size with uppercuts, nor touch anyone with the jab, no matter the provocation. Life is so unfair. Thank goodness I have all my money and my 11/10 girlfriend(s) for comfort.

He will be found guilty, or will plead to a lesser charge, doubt jail time will be involved though.

I agree for the most part. However, I believe this particular guy will act an ass again, just for the mere fact that he probably don't remember shit. Lol
lol, I think the video and his drinking buddies will remind him a lot, lol. This was something we actually addressed bouncing by rabbit punching patrons in the eyes if they got choked out/Koed before justice was dished out. Like if you hit a girl or punched one of the staff you were definitely not escaping without 2 black eyes. We didn't necessarily want to hurt you but we wanted you to have to explain your two black eyes to everyone you interacted with for the next week or so.

Like I said in my other reply you seem more disturbed by the drunk's behaviour vèrsus schilling's conduct.

"Am" would be a more accurate word than "seem." On a macro level I'll take one violent interaction negatively impacting an antagonist over a lifetime of that gentleman drunkenly harassing innocent restaurant patrons. Why do you empathize with the drunken man?

All irrelevant when 20 people say the former inmate wanted to fight and lunged at him with a balled fist and zero people say joe was the problem or instigator
They never said he wanted to fight, he also never lunged with a balled fist. Stop talking trash.

Considering Joe schilling has a glass jaw I give him a pass he was probably afraid the untrained civilian could KO him with one punch

Stop being over dramatic
The drunk guy clearly made a move of aggression towards Schilling and quickly found out that he fucked with the wrong bull
Nothing about that is a sucker punch, its just a sucker getting punched
{<redford}<GinJuice>

Bitch move.. if it was a big drunk dude maybe id understand.. but this guy is a little dude and zero threat to even most untrained civilians
Midgets need to know their place sometimes.

Shouldn’t this be a Bellator thread unless ufc just signed the drunk guy to fight cm punk

drunk v punk ufc 265 interim title

The guy did throw the first strike tho. Granted it was just a shoulder strike aimed at a ghost that missed by a mile short.

That is obviously what joe’s defense should be if they try to pull some assault beef bullshit. You can see the guy making the shoulder motion as if to maybe throw a strike. Watch the dood’s shoulders. that was a combat mode engage initiated by him not joe. Just cause he got KOed before he could even get his hands up doesn’t mean Joe committed a crime ..joe is not guilty.
Don't underestimate shoulder strikes. That shit can f**k you up. Ask Cowboy Cerrone.

The guy has an arrest record, all patrons agreed he was the instigator prior to the punch incident, he gave police no details on what lead to the punch or how he was acting that night , manager said he regularly causes problems. This will be an easy win for Joe
Except the clip shows the ony part that matters- how he was punched.

"A lifetime"?! If the bar had been really disturbed by him the owner would have blacklisted him. Bar patrons will be different on the nights he shows up so it isn't likely the same patron has to ensure his off key singing too much.

Most of all, getting violently attacked by a trained pro fighter ad subjected to a potentially fatal knockout easily outweighs by far his annoyance value. What he is doing isn't illegal but what schilling did to him is abhorrent from a moral perspective, a criminal act and a grievous civil wrong.

You should reexamine your values if u think schilling is entitled to assault people who annoy him.

Those people have to now quickly change their testimony quick because the clip shows that they could be committing perjury...

Then it doesn't work saying he's a trained fighter and should know a flex vs a feint when other actual trained fighters disagree. Joe wins

d1, you r arguing a scenario that has no relation to this case. Schilling himself said it was a flex. He never said it was or could have been a feint.
