Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

It doesn't matter what he said. No insult anyone says will justify knocking him out for it especially if you are a pro prizefighter. Schilling should hopefully get charged and prosecuted for what appears appears be a clear crime.
I didn't say it was justified and I didn't comment on what the aftermath should be, just calling it as I see it.

For the record, no argument here from me, if Joe was a random joe (so to speak) it would be assault, the fact that he's a trained pro fighter makes it worse. It's pretty clearly overkill, yeah the guy started it, but the response sends that out of the window imo.

I see all the Cheeto eating basement dwelling bridge trolls are here in all their glory pretending to defend this douche because it makes them feel big and tough.

If your an adult or professional fighter or business person whos incontrol of themselves and not incoherently drunk and bumping into people and yelling at them for it , then you should have nothing to worry about it..

Ever heard of the saying DRINK RESPONSIBLY...

Deserved isnt what makes its right or wrong...sometimes in life you get more then what you bargained for...

Like if you buy a cheap car and it breaks and you crash and get injuries...did you deserve that cuz you bought a cheap car?? ...no ...but you got more then what u were expecting didnt you...
And sometimes you get legal problems because you have CTE and can't control yourself.

No, just pointing out how civilized society works. You keep repping the dogshit though. Also, this is not a defense of drunk guy.

Bully. LOL. Take a nap guy.
When he shouted at him, and then puffed up his chest and did the stupid bro flex...that's typical bully behavior. He's trying to act tough to intimidate someone, that was a natural reaction to him. He's been doing that to people his entire life. He thought "ha another chance for me to punk some dummy at the bar" and got knocked out.

Proportionality is a vital ingredient of self defense. This means that to respond to verbal abuse with verbal abuse is reasonable. To respond with physical assault is disproportionate and therefore the defence of self defense is not available to the perp. Therefore all that remains is the assault he has committed as the aggressor and he is now looking at a criminal charge if the victim presses charges and a civil suit that will probably make him bankrupt in the end.
The way the guy moved and closed the distance on Joe could easily be perceived as a physical threat. Joe was trying to walk away when the guy called him back and moved forward toward Joe in a threatening manner. This is not cut and dry from a legal perspective, but it’s still gonna be a bitch for Joe.

If someone yells at me and then puffs up their chest and lunges at me, I'm going to take that as a threat, and feel as if I am in danger. I'm not a pro fighter though so my first reaction wont be to knock the other guy out unfortunately.

But Joe IS a pro fighter.
So was he in any danger?
According to Joe him self it was a life threatening experience. Do you agree with that?`
Was Joes life in danger?

you should read my first post in this thread. what schilling should have done, and what 99% of the population does, is to say nicely, "excuse me". the guy moves, and everyone goes back to having fun. but now, they're both going to be dealing with lawsuits and lawyers. sounds like fun lol.
Not necessarily. I don't know how the law works over there but what would happen if they both pretended it never happened?

Cool, so you would grab a woman's ribs and move her out of your way and then punch her if she said "hey"?

I would move her out of my way...and if she said hey!... id turn around and say watch where the fucking ur falling you drunk ass...and leave

This isnt this situation is it? This is two men...

Way to move the goal post puss

This entire narrative you've created to justify your beliefs is very telling of your lack of critical thinking skills. You're literally speaking from the first person to justify something similar you did in the past.

Honk honk!

Yes. I agree with it. That guy could also be a pro fighter. You dont know who he is, what he does, or what he's going to do.

Is that a punch lol? His hands are still by his side.

You should never step into a gym. You'd probably get into fights with everyone doing lateral shrugs lol.

U can see his other hand??? Looks like hes winding up a punch to me...

We dont know what the other hands doing..

How does civilized society work? Do they get drunk and run into people at the bar? Do they then yell at the person they ran into? Do they then puff up their chest and flex their arms like they're going to hit the person they just ran into?

He didn't look like he was going to punch schilling at any time. In any event schilling had the training ad still fight experience many times over to easily move out of range or evade or block any attack by a drunk in a bar.

You cant argue with the points I made so now you're attempting to attack me. Take your L.
