It’s been my experience that most bar hotheads absolutely hate goofy drunks so I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe was trying to bait this guy into doing something all night. At the same time I wasn’t there so I really have no clue what happened leading up to Joe having to fight for his life. Im never for any trained fighter engaging civilians in combat. I wasnt there so who knows what led up to it. All I can say is based on the video and Joes comments. Its def a bad look. Hes luck braddah didnt hit his head on the bard or a stool on the way down. Still might not be over legally or maybe in the civil courts. You def need to have a little more composure and patience as a martial artist especially if your going to be in a bar with people that have been drinking.

Did Joe post the original? therefore recording it himself and premedtating the assault? video just seems to well and Joes a piece of shiit for his coward punch, you'd think someone as decorated as him would have a more reasonable head on his shoulders..

Too many people trying to make excuses for Joe's bitch behavior. There's nothing that warrants what we saw on video.

Me and a buddy were out one night at our usual spot and there was a drunk guy who started fucking with us for no reason just while we were sitting minding our own. He had a guy with him too but these fools were old just like in the video so it was more annoying than threatening. That old man wanted it bad though, he wanted to go outside and everything. Even lit up his cig and blew smoke in our face kinda shit. I had to physically hold my friend back from following this man out. See what that old drunk man didn't know was both me and my buddy were experienced fighters who trained 5 days a week. When you have those gym battles almost daily (esp back in those days) shit in the street was light work. This old man would have been killed easily, he'll never know how much I saved him.

Because they are going to be named in any lawsuit, since Schilling, as a mediocre MMA fighter who has fought mostly in second-tier promotions is not going to yield a lot of cash vs a business establishment, or, more accurately, the insurance company offering liability coverage to that business.
