I dunno...i was one of the few that thought the Clippers owner didnt deserve to lose his team and I stood alone in that amongst friends but there's no need to say what he did. How's the fact that you cannot be openly racist and offensive "killing society"? What exactly, in society, is dying as a consequence of awareness and mutual respect?

You can look for Zizek's critique of political correctness. He explains why he thinks it is corrosive. Even South Park did a brilliant job at exposing why and how PC-culture is crap: because the dominant groups appropriated it as their own rhetoric, which alienates the actual victims of the aggressions they allegedly protect.

But your reasoning wasn't clear. It sounded like you're upset that you cannot say horrible things with impunity.

Being anti-PC is the cool thing these days. People who are not intelligent and needs an external stimulus to feel a sense of worth, are the kinds of people to jump on the anti-PC bandwagon.

It makes them feel like they're part of an anti-culture, as if they're somehow being rebellious.
