Joe Rogan Kettlebell REDEMPTION

Does he ever work out with anything besides kettle bells? I see the weights in the back, but it seems like all he uses is kettle bells.

This made me instantly seize.

He's part of the reason I have no intentions of getting back into BJJ. I did it for two years and something on my body was always hurting. My fingers, toes, ribs, back, elbow. I was pretty much constantly in some sort of pain. It wasn't serious pain but when you constantly feel it 24/7 it starts to get annoying. I wanted to do BJJ cause I thought it was a good way to train and learn to fight without getting injured but I started realizing all these guys get injured doing BJJ it's just a matter of time.

Change the way you roll, maybe only do one hard sparring day a week. Work on technique and by rolling easier you won't be as drained, hit the heavy weights start putting on muscle. Too many people go into BJJ thinking that rolling their hardest every day is the right thing to do. Someone pulls on something that isn't strong enough to be pulled on, and of course you'll get injured. If you are one of the weaker guys in your gym you can bet you'll be hurt more often, not saying you are. Serious sparring in BJJ isn't a game, it's a battle to the death, your mind may be ready when your body isn't.

With bare fucking feet...wear some damn shoes, imagine if that dropped on his foot lol

If you mean Wellington megaton Diaz, actually it's not but he has some sick slam thoughs dam

yes, i did.

very skilled, very crazy/cantankerous guy...

once upon a time we used to be on opposite sides of a dojo rivalry, but when i would bump into him at a gym or GNC, he was always wise, gracious, and funny.

i have a feeling his progeny will get the fame he deserved but didnt get.

Have you ever picked up a kettlebell that big?

It's hilarious that you think a pair of trainers would do anything to protect your foot if you dropped 30kg+ of iron on it!!

Plus there's benefits to training barefoot.

I've been lifting weight for ten years if not more I lost track of how long it's been so I'm far from doing nothing. I'm not going to put myself through the kind of injuries these people go through. I started getting into excersising as a way to avoid injuries and getting weak when I got old. I'm not going To do something that pretty much guarantees it happens.

I'm talki

I'm talking about being the best in your sport. Power lifters will receive injuries due to pushing there limits.

Bodybuilders the same, because of their limited diet when competing. They injure themselves.

I'm a black belt in bjj and I've had broken nose, broken fingers, broken ribs, and recently a herniated disc . I wouldn't change a thing.
