Crime Joe pardons Hunter

Yes.

I, once again, am asking if you have any idea why it’s backdated since Biden didn’t express his reasoning.
I think that's your reading comprehension issue again. I really think you'd benefit from some additional education (or do you have a caregiver?).

"Quid." When does it become unreasonable, then? It's not a plausible claim and there's no evidence for it (despite a LOT of looking). Why do we have to pretend that this is still a possibility? And you're so sure of your position that you think ugly, dishonest personal attacks are justified if people disagree with you. Why?
Well it is a plausible claim because they hired Hunter not for his skills but almost certainly for access to the president.

There's no conspiracy minded approach needed here. It's just basic corruption that we see all the time.

Again, I'm not arguing for the certainty that information exchanged hands or services from Biden. What I'm arguing for is that is completely reasonable to think that could have happened.

I also have not engaged in ugly personal attacks with you. What I've said is that it looks like partisan lying to me and I think it is perfectly reasonable to believe that is why you are feigning certainty in your position rather than having an open mind and admitting the possibility.

You seem to be arguing that it is unreasonable to think that happened and that is a foolish argument on its face.

Watch the Jon Stewart segment on dems needing to find the loopholes and use the government the same way the GOP does. You can do this while also pushing for progressive policy. You really want to go through the next four years with the dems acting as soft as they usually do? We’re completely fucked if that’s the case. Take the gloves off and try to block as much as possible. We have to mitigate the damage.
I don't think soft means honest and hard means dishonest. I think only a warped mind can think like that.

Trump is promising and lying about a kind of populism and a genuine break from corporations having too much power in this country over people and our politics.

What the Dems need to do is run a person who really strongly believes in fixing all of that and then back that person with the fullness of the credit parties power.

We also need to avoid becoming like Trump while we fight against him and using him as our leader and our example of how to be and act in this world. Because if we don't l... once the dust has settled and Trump is gone... Everyone will be like him and he will have won because that's the real battle that is taking place in the country right now.

You guys all seem to be arguing that Trump is a dastardly villain and that the only way to beat him is to become a dastardly villain. That is extremely naive.

I think the only way to beat him is to become actually true and actually fight for the American people with vigor and get all these corporate c**** to come to heel.

Well it is a plausible claim because they hired Hunter not for his skills but almost certainly for access to the president.
What's not a plausible claim is that Joe Biden was involved in some kind of scam with an energy company in Ukraine while he was vice president. You realize that every meeting and all his movements are heavily tracked when you're the vice president, right?

When have we seen anything like what Republicans are (or used to be) alleging here?

Sure you have. Be honest.

It is unreasonable. And what's more, Republicans have put in a lot of time and resources to find *something* they can pin on Joe related to that and come up completely empty. Why do you think that is? It would be very easy to prove if it were real. His finances are an open book. His meetings are an open book. His physical movements are an open book. How do you think he'd get away with what Republicans were claiming? Also, why do you think they gave up? I mean, random hacks on message boards and still pushing it, but actual Republicans in gov't gave up.

Joe simply changed his mind?

The pardon game has been a joke since day 1. Amazing how much hoopla this is causing lol
I agree. I said it earlier that it was a bad move. But trump saying he is gonna go after his political foes if he becomes president again surely prompted this. Joe should probably pardon a lot more to reign in trump and his attempts at weaponizing the courts.

Like I said you will die on this hill and lose credibility in the process because everyone on the right and probably at least half the people on the left can see that you're just being unreasonable.

This kind of hackery is why we lose. It's why we have lost two elections to the worst candidate in history...
We are supposed to be the ones who really fight for the American people and fight for what is good and true and we have lost our way.

No, you would just actually have a way to show the precedent was set. Instead, you mouth off and continuously have to backpedal away from things you've said. I wish just one of you goofs would just say you don't care. I guess it's too much to ask you grow grow a spine. Boring.

lol at you triggered so you search my posts. No, in that thread I was saying the same thing I am here.

Keep coping, loser.

Show me a Trump pardon that was anywhere near the level of this one. I'll wait. I'll say this again though, I don't blame Joe for doing it. It proves he's a liar and exposes the hypocrisy of the left in their reaction to it, but I don't blame him. I'm no Biden fan but he got shafted. Fuck everyone, I say.
The precedent was set. By Ford. When he gave a blanket pardon to Nixon lol

What do you mean when you say, “show me a Trump pardon that’s on the level of this one? What do you mean by “on the level”?

How about Paul Manafort, who was thought to have the dirt on Trump and Russian election interference that Mueller wanted, was convicted of 8 felony counts regarding financial crimes, was in the midst of having three properties seized worth about 26 million dollars? Trump hinted to Manafort that if he shut up and didn’t rat Trump out, he’d get a pardon, and that’s exactly what happened. No way in hell is the Hunter Biden pardon anything close to that.

And we know Trump doesn’t give a shit about out financial crimes, he pardoned Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, both convicted on fraud and tax charges.

Pardoning family? Trump did that of course, and Charles Kushner’s financial crimes were objectively worse than Hunter’s, plus his disgusting attempt at witness retaliation. And hell, Charles Kushner is about to be our Ambassador to France. <lol>

Any of those pardons are easily worse than this one. And if those don’t do it for you, how about the pardon of the Blackwater contractors who killed innocent Iraqi civilians? Those fuckers were convicted of murder and manslaughter charges.

You could’ve easily have just saved yourself all that trouble and just said “but Trump”

You tried

The "then" doesn't make sense. What does one have to do with the other?
Most pardons are for crimes already convicted. Not blanket back to '14 unless one of these stems from 10 years ago. Also blanket means everything they could come up with or find

Well, but if we're being honest, my position is very reasonable and yours is not. Which is why you ducked the issues and pivoted to your usual personal attacks.

I don't consider Democrats "we," and I definitely don't agree with Biden's pardon. But I think this illustrates why it's hard for normal people to respect you guys. You can't just say "Biden pardoning his son is an abuse of power." Reality is just always too boring so you have to add in some crazy conspiracy theory on top of it. As I said, even House Republicans have given up on that one, but you're still pushing it. Why?

hunter promised that was the first time he went on a coke fueled hooker banging black-out weekend.
10 years and it's not run out on statute of limitations?

That's not an answer to the question. What's the therefore? How do we get from "2014" to "Joe Biden is taking bribes from Burisma?" You realize that pardoning Hunter wouldn't have any impact on his own crimes if there were any, right? See my response to that freak above. The real world is just not exciting enough for you guys.

I said as much earlier to a poster.... so why still was my question to him
