Have to disagree with you on the Hopkins/Cal fight, Brooklyn. I was rooting for Hopkins, but there is no way he was doing enough.
Yes, he would land a decent right hand once or twice a round, but these werent such devastating blows that they completely negate the work Joe was putting in all round.
The volume and work rate that Hopkins used against Pavlik would have got him the W against Joe, but he was nowhere close to that.
If Joe had anything on his punches he'd have won the fight on my card as I scored it 7-5, 115-112 for Nard.
Hopkins may not have put in as much work, but the work he did was more effective to me.
